@@thomasw4422 For a good reason too, Hermitcraft season 7 got massively revitalized first with the election and again with the civil war, all focused on the shopping district while season 8...didn't really do much. A lot of hermits barely interacted outside of their chosen communities, mainly traveling to shop. So, while the season had some really impressive builds it petered out before damn near anything came to completion. Did Etho and Bdubs have even one race? There were ideas to reconnect the server with no-wings clubs and roads but that's not really enough is it...there NEEDS to be a Hermit centered driving force behind theese things and Bdubs manufactured one.

@@theKiwii - Maybe it was a red herring? Something to make the Hermits believe their items were being burned, when they actually weren’t? So kinda like: every time a diamond was thrown in, a piece of dirt or something of little value would be burned, as a way to create the noise and worry people. No clue lol, but I am incredibly curious.

I think Doc will continue to do that on his own. I hope so at least. Those diamonds aren't in circulation so I hope it doesn't count. Personally, I was interested to see where high inflation would get them, they were about to have inequality problems too.
