I think you missed the dynamic between Daemon and Rhaenyra. Sure it's complicated but they love each other, they've seen each other all their lives, they are family, lovers and have children together. Daemon is just a rouge one, he sees things in a different way. He is loyal to those close to him and strongly hates those who oppose him. Daemon is 100% a scorpio.

Rule for your son until he comes of age? Aegon is twenty or even older... Men are considered adults when they are 16 in Westeros... And "toiling in service of men" was such a funny line from Rhaenys considering she always does what Corlys tells her to do, lol.

I don’t know if you can give Ryan all the credit for these characters being grey characters ! These characters were written as grey characters by George R R Martin ! Yes he deserves some credit for bringing it to the screen ! But the source material was there for him to show and expand on . But he did have a big part in these characters !

Love Condal. Trust the process. Targ stans can cope & seethe about Alicent not being evil stepmom & Daemon not being self-insert malewife all they want, I have complete faith in him. At the end of the day 90% of the criticism comes down to "why my team is not being shown as flawless heroes with no conflicts & the other team not being shown as irredemable NPC villains". It's a bunch of children who don't deserve a tragedy.

If some of the leaks around are true...this show is no more than a fanfiction based on the source material but I'm still very much excited to see the actors performances, especially TGC as Aegon. This cast is phenomenal.

Another showrunner ready to run this series into the ground. The bts where he says he's always looking for humor where it's not expected just shows he's got no good sense for dramatic weight or intelligent characterization. Watched the first episode of season 2 and I'm done. Gave it a chance but it's more of the same lazy writing, nonsensical happenstance, and repetition of inane dialogue that ruined got. Viewers aren't stupid, stop acting like you're smarter than everyone else in the world dude

Now that I have seen the first episode as well as future leaks, I can say that Ryan has officially ruined HotD. The show is unwatchable for me beside a few videos here and there. Pretty sad considering that it was the only adaptation we will get of Fire and Blood.

That guy Jason needs to lay off the helium balloons, or at least hit puberty. My 7 year old son has a deeper voice.
