the yellow Stardust is probably actually the cultivar 'Chiyomi'. In the US, all of the yellows are clones of 'Maui', in Europe most of them are 'Chiyomi'.

Nice update! Im not really a nobile gal. 😂 that resting stuff is just tough for me. 😂 I like Den Phals. They are easy peasy! No fuss no muss! 😂😂 I did get gifted a black hair type. Its a bit different. Its like you need to shave your canes your hairy legs! 😂😂😂 sorry im being silly, had too much caffeine this morning 😂😂😂

LOL I seriously just order Decaf coffee! I do like many Den. Orchids, but indeed it did take me a few winters to get the rest right. It is not that hard though. Just look at the plant and you should know what to do. Water/feed or not. I do like the bloom so much on them. As whit all my orchids :P It is a problem…. @TheOrchidSaGa 🤣🤣 That's funny, decaf coffee ☕️ 🤣 I'm not sure do you have any black hair types? I have Dendrobium infundibulum. It's a gorgeous huge cattleya looking bloom. It's white but it really is phenomenal! But I wasn't sure what other types dendrobium you had.

@@hillbillyorchids I do have Densiflora, the chrysotoxum, very nice yellow blooms! Smell like honey. And I just received a purpuratum Red Dragon, section: Calyptrochilus. And two Latouria types, Roy and Nora :P. So no black hairtypes yet! … Maybe I should try one or two of those. :D It sounds like your infundibulum is a good plant to try. Very nice blooms! I just had a look. And it can bloom for a while right? Good excuse to order a few plants soon :P …

@TheOrchidSaGa Hey hon, yes I would be curious to see how black hair types would do in your set up. Mine has sulked a little but I added a little moss because my space has been drying out fast! Not sure why, my humidity is great! But yea I'm waiting to see new growth. Then I'm gonna jump for joy! 🤣🤣

Gorgeous blooms, enjoyed your video. You are very good with dendrobium noble too! So do you keep the reservoir empty in winter?

Thank you. No, I keep it damp. If I just water them in winter, there is a little bit off water in the reservoir but not much. Maybe a ¼ of the level that they do get in spring and summer.
