Yes. The electronic shift on demand transfer case is the option that will give you the 4WD Auto settings. It is $195 option. I have a 2022 Rebel with most of the whistles and bells and just love it! I've had four Ram trucks over the years and this one is the most luxurious and comfortable vehicle I have ever owned . The trucks interior is second to none and is nicer than my friends Cadillac! I recently took a 6000 mile round trip and it just reinforced how nice and comfortable it was on that long trip. No issues with the truck whatsoever!

Excellent overview of what you get in each of the packages. Your video has been extremely valuable in my quest for a new truck and what to get in it. I have Been visiting a few dealers where I live, and sadly, I was more knowledgeable about the Ram Rebel and all the options that they have with the different packages then the salesperson who was helping me. I actually recommended to the salesperson that they should watch your video during their down time to really get a good grasp of what all the packages have to offer. Finally, I would just offer that I think it's better to get a bed liner put in aftermarket. If you go with a vendor like Line-X, you have a lifetime warranty, but if the dealer puts it in, when the warranty is up, your out of luck if there is any issues. Thanks again for the great video.
Excellent video!!! I'm thinking about buying a 2021 Rebel and I wanted more features than what I'm seeing. This video confirms that I can get HUD, rear heated seats, and the air suspension!
They are going to be more rare, but there has to be some out there. The HUD might be the most difficult to find. It was a new technology for Ram that year.

Just picked up my 2021 Rebel less than 2 weeks ago, and though it only has 150ish miles so far on it, I'm loving it. Great truck and had to have that Night edition on it with the Granite paint, just sets it off.

The rain sensitive wipers are pretty cool. I didn't know about that until the first time I drove me truck in the rain. It does a really good job of sending when to speed up and slow down. I guess I shouldn't have paid for the black appearance package since I immediately changed the wheels and front bumper anyway. Could have just bought a $20 black badge and saved myself however much that package costs
I agree about the windshield wipers. I didn't realize how nice they were until I was behind and then passed an 18 wheeler on a rainy day. Wipers went from high speed to low speed in no time.
The ram rebel is the least photogenic truck in the market. When I first saw the truck in videos and pictures i didn’t like it at all . But everything change when I saw mine at the dealer . White Rebel that for some reason looked badass in person. The hood lines look great but the picture doesn’t show that.
Picked up mine on December 30, some of issues that they’re fixing, I like the truck. Only disappointment was the so-called lane keep, coming from a Honda ridgeline, I referred to this as Lane Pong, it doesn’t keep you anywhere. I turned it off I felt like I was constantly fighting it’s over correction and I tried all the settings. Honda actually keep you in the lane, it took the stress off your wrist on long trips of a winding highway. This just sees the lines and turns the steering the other way with no finesse. What a waste of technology.
I haven't really experienced lane keep with any other manufacturers. At least you tried the different settings, many people just turn it off automatically.
Remote start should be standard on any rebel packages. I also heard now if you get the level 1 package. It will come standard 23 gallon gas tank? Why will they put a 23 gallon tank on full size truck just blow my mind.
I know this is an older video but I’m hoping you still check comments 😅 Would you recommend just getting a Laramie with the upgraded features? Is the off ride package really that much better then standard 1500 trucks?
I still check comments. I want to be sure we are on the same page in regard to terminology and what you’re looking for on a truck. When you say off road package are you asking about the off road equipment group option or are you comparing the Rebel trim level to the Laramie trim level?

The standard transfer case on a 4x4 Rebel is an Electronic Shift-on-the-Fly Part Time Transfer Case. This is the transfer case that doesn't have the 4x4 Auto setting. There is an upgraded Electronic Shift-on-Demand Transfer Case. This is the transfer case that does have the 4x4 Auto setting. It is an option that the dealership can order when they are ordering trucks. It is listed under the optional equipment on the window sticker. Where are you getting the information that there isn't a 4x4 Auto?

Hey man, I'm assuming that the Rebel 12 has the better sound system with the 19 Speaker Harman Kardon Premium Sound - compared to 12A with the 9 Amplified Speakers with Subwoofer?
Unfortunately, I think that ventilated seats on the Rebel are a few years away. I think that Ram currently likes the ventilated seats to be a distinguishing feature for the luxury trim packages. In spite of the price tag, the Rebel doesn't quite meet that luxury threshold.
I want to be sure we are on the same page. When you are asking about the two types of Rebel, are you referring to the Level 1 and Level 2 Equipment Group Options? If that's what you are asking about then the simple answer is it depends on the year model. For 2021, there are only Level 1 and Level 2. With the supply chain interruption, Ram made some slight modifications to equipment groups. For 2022, there are Level 1 and Level A, Level 2 and Level B. Ram alternated between Level 1/A and Level 2/B throughout the build year. A Level 1 built during certain months might have some basic equipment differences from a Level 1 built during other months. Usually, those differences are relatively minor. The best way to find out how a truck is equipped is to find a copy of the window sticker or build sheet. Is there something specific you are looking for on the truck?
Can you help I have some problem with 2019 Rebel 30 000 miles on it, the problem starts at 6000 miles the manufacturer doesn’t want too help me with the Couple little stuff
I like the level 1, but most of the time when a dealer orders the level 2, they also get it with other features that are only available with the level 2.
I ordered a 21 rebel about 3 weeks ago, I got just about every option but the night edition, I have since changed my mind and want the night edition package. I contacted my dealer and let them know this and they say they are checking on it, are they just blowing me off or is there a number I can call to check basically going around the dealer...
Don't know about a number to call. The best thing to do is go to the dealership and talk to them. It might be too late to change the options on this order, but you can just order another one.

That's a good question. I didn't see anything to indicate that it was available on the Rebel. An educated guess would tell me that your best bet is going to be with the comfort/convenience group. Unfortunately, I don't have a Rebel with that option to test out.
@@prestonflanikensellscars9640 I do have the 2 different seat position options, and my last truck had the same 2 different seat positions, as well as the easy in/out. The 202 Rebel I now have has the 2 position seat option, but I can't get the "IN/OUT" function to work!
In a nutshell, they are equipment packages that combine several desirable options together. (Primarily, 12" display, leather seats, heated seats, and upgraded speakers.) Specifically, the The Rebel 12 and 12A give the customer the 12" radio with Nav, automatic temperature control w/ dual zone climate control, HD radio, heated front seats and steering wheel, LED footwell lighting, leather trimmed bucket seats, power driver and passenger seats, SiriusXM services, Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, 4G LTE wi-fi hotspot and upgraded speakers. Rebel 12 has the 19 speaker Harman Kardon system. Rebel 12A has the 9 speaker Alpine system.

+Walter 777 Smith is just not available. Rear heated seats are options on the "luxury" trims (Laramie, Longhorn and Limited.) The Rebel isn't one of the luxury trucks.
It depends on how you use the truck. If you have heavy loads in the bed of your truck, or tow, regularly, then the auto-level is good because it will auto level the truck's stance. Another benefit of the air suspension is that you can lower the truck to the "Entry/Exit" setting to make it easier when you are loading items in the bed of the truck. On the "Entry/Exit" height, the truck is over an inch lower to the ground than normal ride height. I've read some people say that they have experienced some issues in extreme cold with the Air Suspension.
BeDliners are optional equipment on the Rebel trim package. The dealership didn't order it with a berliner. To me, that's not a deal breaker on a truck because a bedliner is easily added aftermarket.
If the dealership has someone that installs bedliners, then yes, you can have them do it. Keep in mind that if you aren't buying from a local dealership then it might be easier to have a local company install the bedliner.

Those are good options. Be sure you go to the Ram website and build one before you go order. Ram makes you order a few options to get the GT. As you build it, the website will show you.
Thanks and yes I did go to a dealer and I have a build sheet and went over every option the only thing I was disappointed on I could not get the electric runningboards. They don’t offer runningboards on the rebel. And they said because it’s an off-road vehicle. Unfortunately I don’t have enough money to take a vehicle like this off road 😂. So I would have liked the runningboards that I wanted. But thanks again for your info in your input if you have anything else that I should know please feel free to let me know
I don't think the reclining rear seat was available in anything other than a megacab. I could be wrong but I do know on my 08 ram, it was offered only in the megacabs
@natew48 when the 5th gen 1500 was revealed, Ram brought reclining seats to the 1500. They recline differently than the seats in the MegaCab. In the MegaCab, the seat back reclines and the bottom seat cushion stays in place. In the 1500, the bottom seat cushion moves forward to create the recline.
