My mother always told me when dealing with a person that does not respect you back you do not have to give them the time and energy just do not disrespect them the same way they disrespect you humbly and respectfully remove yourself from the situation

I see the word love in 2022 and I just laugh. It's all about respect. You can love a woman all you want but if she doesn't respect you then it's a wrap. As men it's our duty to be respected. Period.

If you don’t qualify for a high quality woman yet it’s better to be single than to get with an easier woman who lacks self respect because that lack of self respect will spill over in your relationship with how she behaves in public and makes herself available to other men

Unconditional love doesn't exist. Only time it exist is with a parent and a young child. Other than that, love always has conditions. If you don't believe me, treat your significant other, family, or friend like crap and see if they still stay with you.

Right on the money hafeez. I find it fascinating that as men we have to love unconditionally regardless of what nonsense behaviour is displayed but yet there’s conditional love towards us when we ain’t pulling our weight. That’s the most asinine logic I’ve ever seen

I think unconditional love is misrepresented and under explained. Unconditional love doesn’t mean tolerating disrespectful behaviour or boundaries being crossed, but people often think it means “you should love me at my worst”. The longest relationship you have is with yourself so that is the one where you need to show love. If being with a person means sacrificing the love you can show to yourself, you need to walk away. Pouring endlessly into an empty cup is never going to allow you to be full.

I think the tough part is when you grew up with an aggressive father so you naturally think women are the good ones so you tend to vow to be the opposite with your woman. Whooooo and this is where get smacked by modern women.

The majorly misleading thing is motherly love, biology makes a mother a child's best guardian, in most cases this love from mothers ruin and messes with most men's judgment on the possibility of ladies turning monsters. As a man demand respect and keep on upgrading e.g. take night school, or step up for certain deficiencies that aren't upgradable like height (very expensive and risky to upgrade) after doing all this the feeling of desperation ceases and your options widen, and before you marry, sign up a prenup for heaven's sake (at least you keep your house and stuff you inherited, although you'll still pay alimony). Should she say "well prenups are votes of low confidence" then reply "and so is marriage" whereby you are tied down and face dire consequences as a man should you misbehave whereas people say she cheated because she wasn't happy. Everyone has to watch his/her back in a world where people say 'Happiness is important even if it means using others like toilet paper'. Be wise because your girl will always set a timer, say 3 months if you lose your job and were a good man, or 1 month if you were an averager. Lastly don't demonize women but don't tolerate nonsense too and recognize double standards, Mothers day is not comparable to Fathers day!

No relationship can be 50/50 because no 2 people are equal in a relationship, no two people are the same, & even if they need the same things in a relationship, they need it to varying degrees. Relationships work best when those involved put 100% effort into figuring out borh what theue partner needs and if they are able/willing to provide that, then give their best to provide it and being appreciative of their partner's efforts.

Both partners must be happy in themselves before they come together only then can they grow and flourish as a team. It is not the duty of your partner to make you happy or vice versa only you can make yourself truly happy. When 2 people are happy come together to make each other happy that’s when love can be unconditional

Honestly fellas at this half century plus mark, I can honestly say, I don’t know if I’ve ever experienced but one maybe a light two women who did “love” me. Smh. Have no clue what real love is these days. Seems a lot like Christmas gifts in dating that 99% go to women and rarely FROM them.

Believe it or not that's probably about the same for most people. Why? Because most people, imo, don't know what love really is. And as far as gift giving is concerned, many women are told that men don't like receiving gifts because men are the "givers" in relationships. So that's why no effort is put forth into giving anything to you.
