►About the Game -
The most diabolical killer from smartphones is now on Steam. You have 5 days to survive and escape from the lair of this horrifying kidnapper with a horse's head. But don't think it will be easy. HeadHorse is a highly intelligent assassin with an unparalleled thirst for blood, and he is tracking your every move. No place is safe in this game, and at any moment you can be caught by HeadHorse or his dog, Grinder. Solve puzzles to escape and survive in a dark and terrifying scenario.
Try to escape from HeadHorse and Grinder in the liminal world of the Backrooms. Solve puzzles to open the door and escape, but it won't be easy. The scenario of HeadHorse in the Backrooms is challenging, and you will need to create strategies to succeed.
The game offers 6 difficulty levels, ranging from Ghost, which is the easiest where the player is not seen by the enemy, to Madness mode, where escaping is nearly impossible. Play and put yourself to the test. Will you be able to escape?

I don’t know if you read any of these, but I wanted to say “Thank you”. I don’t have a computer to play any of these amazing games, but watching them is entertaining enough, especially buy someone like you. I’ve watched a few other people on RU-vid, but I end up being annoyed by their personalities overpower the game. From the first video you reminded me of a happy Mr. Darcy (Colin Firth). Your overall disposition is inspiring, in a world filled with self obsessed, selfish toddlers that couldn’t be less impressed with anything… you shine with hope. The way you seem to be having the time of your life, playing games! “Having fun playing games”, should be an obvious result, but sadly… not so common. Sorry to go off on a comment that may not even be noticed, but I really had to, at least, say thank you. I’ve enjoyed every video I’ve watched. You have become one of my happy places. Cheers CJU.

Fun game, and I agree it was a bit harsh : the one-slot inventory had you do an insane amount of back-and-forth, greatly increasing the chances of getting caught of course.

"Run, Chris, run!" 😆 It was the 1-item inventory and the unpredictability that did you in. I was surprised when HeadHorse changed his patterns after so many times of being utterly oblivious to you. Kudos to Yellow Pixel Games for that little twist--you kept CJU off guard. Thanks for the 1-hour video and for being persistent, Chris. And, yeah, **Spoiler** the backdoor was another way to escape. You got the other 2 endings.

Totally agree with not needing darkness to make a game scary. I'm kind of sick of devs using the dark. It's actually annoying to not be able to see much of anything for most or all of the game.

I must admit, there's only one thing about this game I'm disappointed in... There really should be a fourth ending where you can destroy the cursed skull in the attic. The killer apparently really loved his father, and in some of his dialogue, it actually does sound like he's possessed and having conversations with himself or begging for help. It would've been great if you could somehow destroy or exorcise the skull, freeing the killer who would then remove the horse head and either release you in gratitude, turning himself in, or kill himself out of guilt for all the people he's murdered. Other than that, this is a pretty good port. Bringing games over from Android is never smooth, and Dev teams often get it wrong, but now that they've fixed a few bugs, this runs almost as smooth as the Room games. Incidentally, my wife peeked in a couple times and has decided she wants to stream this game now. Stealth games are usually a bit too stressful for me, though.

Man, I can't help but be fond of a game that lets you choose what skin to put your killer in, lmao. And a game that has you going "gee willickers"! It looks like an incredibly hard game, but for those who love these types of games, it is clearly very fun! Glad you enjoyed it.

I honestly can't magine trying to play this on a phone. I feel like those bear traps would be very difficult to navigate around, especially in some of the tight doorways. Commentary was top notch as usual. Well done for escaping! How many hours did you have to play to get through it?

This game was so hard it was entertaining to watch you struggle 😂 in a good way! It's a change of pace and made victory even sweeter. I appreciate that the house was not trying to make my eyes bleed, the basement was crazy, and the sounds were entertaining, not ear assaulting.

I can't help but thoroughly enjoy well made Grannyesc games. I feel like this killer was a bit too silent so unless you saw him you were oblivious to where he was which would prevent you from planning your different routes. Was really fun to watch but when Chris is playing that is true for every game.

_"Hey there tall, big and horsey, is that just the head?"_ The voice sounds familure. It is a bit control freakish making you spend more time with the game because you can carry only one item. It drags the time out. I'm guessing Mommy is behind one of those locked doors. Also, I noticed wooden poles leaning up against the roof of one of the buildings. Thought you'd be able run up them a get on the roof.

Maybe the game is actually not as difficult if you just focus on one of the escape routes. Then you don't have to worry about having to transfer around half of the items.
