Well, my opinion on this is, my friend did not read the room well,
And this is one of the major mistakes I see women in their mid-30’s make,
Let me explain:
A lot of women in their mid-30s who used to get a good amount of attention in their 20’s from men, struggle to adjust to naturally declining attention from men as they get older, especially younger men.
So when they start getting negative feedback, they enter denial mode.
They become so blinded by the fear of rejection that their mind distorts reality in order to avoid coming to terms with some paintful conclusions such as, they may need to lead with other things than just your looks.
