Most poorly constructed decks fail to these five decks archetypes. I see somebody hasn't read Wolfe & Baxter Deep Magic. I would be surprised if this wasn't part of both profs reading list.

i have seen people do awful things with this deck, some of the darkest souls in pauper even put the urza's lands in this abominable thing so you can lock your enemy faster, we are living dark times indeed

@@YOSEPHALLEN92 When you cast an aura spell, it targets, but when it enters play through some other mean, it doesn't, and thus can get around hexproof and shroud. So, if it's flickered, recurred to the battlefield etc, it doesn't target, and then, the only possible protection is relevant "Protection from" traits, like Protection from Blue, Protection from Enchantments or Protection from Everything.

prufrock1977 it’s actually why I initially built my Lin Sivvi EDH deck: Rebels can grab Bound in Silence from library and put it directly into play, allowing me to shut down hexproof attackers (my meta was experiencing some Narset troubles, which was soon taken apart when they themselves saw how much not being able to play sucked).

Prof, I just wanted to say this video was really well made. A fun little "plot" with theatrics, great deck breakdown as expected (focusing on the "feel" rather than just tech), and using this build to share the MTGO announcement instead of just reporting on it. Throwing in the signed card for new Patrons is also inspired. I love this new character and hope to see him again. Keep up the great work!

if you want to netdeck, 20 bucks is almost expensive in this format. if you take an afternoon off you can brew a pretty competitive deck for 2 dollars. no reason not to try.
