Madripoor’s a major focus of Gerry Duggan and Stefano Caselli's Marauders, set during the post House and Powers of X era of X-Men Comics in 2021's Reign of X. The Marvel hive of scum and villainy serves as the battleground between the anti-mutant former Hellfire Club kids now known as Homines Verendi, and Kate Pryde, Bishop, Pyro, Iceman, and now Callisto's mutant Marauders.

Although Madripoor's recently been introduced to a mutantless Marvel Cinematic Universe in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, the fictional Marvel Universe locale, located near Singapore in real world geography, originates and is predominately associated with various X-Men comics penned by X-Lord Chris Claremont.
As Doug Ramsey puts it in Madripoor’s debut in New Mutants #32, Madripoor is “Earth’s version of Mos Eisley spaceport - a modern-day Tortuga, haven of world-class pirates, crooks and assorted lesser scoundrels. No Extradition, and government security make this the perfect hideout… where the deadliest of enemies can hangout in absolute comfort and safety, without fear of each other or foreign cops.”

Would be incredible if there was a comic that is focusing on medical practice mutants in the Moira MacTaggert Hospital at Madripoor. Also, the fact you spotted on Mystique’s deal in a Las Vegas-like territory in Madripoor would be also interesting in this Krakoan era, considering that her wife Destiny knows a lot about fortune-telling.

Interesting fact - Madripoor has a goddess who is called "protector of dragons". She had taken one of Ares' sons who took form of a dragon and held it as captive (in order to protect it against its enemies who wanted to kill it in retaliation) When Ares came for his son, he was freed but Ares was warned by the Goddess that his son's enemies would take offense to his freedom Interesting fact- you mention X-Men Blue, but when the teen-original-X-Men left for their own time, they left the Madripoorian X-Mansion to a local group of Madripoorian mutants who were inspired by Wolverine/Patch . This group was called Rahska.(sp?) I wished that we would have seen them appear in this Marauders-in-Madripoor events.

Love Madripoor and as a fan of Crule and all Externals, Crule's first appearance in X-Force 12 was in Lowtown's Madripoor. So far that was his only appearance there but it really resonated with me and the reason why I came to love Madripoor. I always thought given that Crule does back to Hyborian Age he could have been there from the beginning, maybe even secretly ruling Lowtown? But either way I'd love, with all this focus on Madripoor that they'll do something with him there. And maybe a nod to him by having in the background we see spray pained on a wall CRULE RULES.

You know the bigger the X-Men get as the Krakoan era gets, the more worried I get that the Era ends with a Moria reset making EVERYTHING happening a moot point.

@@bradonbriffa9690 I'm not sure how Charles would do that and why so that would be extremely interesting to see if that happens. I think that's such a cheap way to reset everything so a new writer can do what they want without working with what the writer before them did.

Not going to lie Herald thought this episode would be a theory episode about the new X-Men line up. Cause one I have is that by using Rogue and Sunfire, they may take some stories from the Uncanny Avengers.

Although im loving the way Marvel is going with all the mutants i need them to using or make a team out those Grant Morrison's mutants we got introduced to b4 the Xmen went to Disney ie: Mercury Glob Icarus Anole Angel Pixie Bling etc etc

Paraphrasing what Isca told Xavier herself "Arakko will be there when you really mean it...." This is thematically connected to Brand's idea in S.W.O.R.D. that Krakoa needs to represent SOL at the galactic scale.

@@210SAi Brand uses "sol" ☀️ in refference to the whole solar system as far as I understand. The whole deal is that Xavier quite grounded for her taste, as she considers earth matters smaller that cosmic matters and planned during king in black to preserve humanity along with mutantkind (this is where she strays from the Krakoan ideal).

No, Yukio is in Japan. Often in Toyoko but is active all over Japan.

I've always wondered why some RU-vidrs stress every word for some sentences. I always notice when Comic Book Herald does this. It's so exaggerated and he slows his tempo down so much. We. Are. Exaggerating. Every. Word. For. Emphasis.
