You can thank our gov…..t epa for that. They have been notifying short lines that some of their units are not in compliance with their regs. The letters even state which units they must retire! Pretty soon, our favorite power could be history!

IORY 3222 still operates in Springfield, OH as some of the new units can’t handle the rough track and grades up here. We have some of the oldest tracks in their system up here in Springfield. You can come up this way and still see them operate. I work at the Lumber Yard they serve up here. We should be getting 2 cars on Monday
