True but I do feel that Cleeter should be judged more by the FF grass, down right beautiful until James or Chelsea goes sideways across it...talk abt character right there
Your track space is about the same as us in Australia. You just need some lead in and exit lanes. And the a standing burnouts would get you kicked out and banded for life at any burnout competition at any track in Aus. Good to see your starting to follow the professional world rules by the undisputed World Champions of the sport 🇦🇺
Well said mate. I was gonna say that “no standing burnouts” rule is what serperates the culdesac queens from the pros here in Aus, aswell as a small pad with walls! So it’s great their catching on to the actual entertaining & skilful version of burnout comps✊🏼
I still think there should be a time limit, honestly! Some of those guys just go and go and go because they don't start with worn down tires that will pop easily.
You should also do PPV for this event. I would love to go but l would not be able to get the time off I’m sure that there are many people that would love to be able to watch it live that can’t make it to Texas.
I think that's awesome. If you want to distance and mask up etc your good, if you're not worried about it go get close together with your buds and everyone can have a great time feel safe while doing it. And the new car and driver safety precautions should stop people hurting themselves with oddly built cars that try to kill them. Sounds like a good compromise to make everyone involved happy and safe while watching the burnouts and hopefully soon the whole issue will be behind us and we can just watch and argue about cars again 👍
Sounds awesome! I like that you are being responsible and thinking about the contenders safety regarding radiators. It really sucks when people get hurt doing something they love.
I so hope this is summernats style Edit: never mind this is also a crazy idea! Another edit sorry:cleetus if you see this is it possible you can make it where the car start in a single lane then drives into the 2 lanes together so it’s possible for an amazing looking tip in?
I'm worried about the covid so I do what I feel I need to. Watching the craziness go down with the giraffe helps. Stay safe and keep the videos coming.e
I realize this is a live event and being able to see stuff in person is great. But have you guys considered adding some screens to broadcast the live video too? For people that maybe have health problems. Or want to keep more distance, as well as place one maybe near the vendor area. So that people can keep taking advantage of the concessions and vendors without missing out on the action. Just a thought, i know that can be a huge additional expense and likely won't be something for this cleetus and cars. But it seems like you Have the crowd/turn out for it. So it would be a major upgrade to the overall experience.
Yes! You can set up two 20'x15' LED walls (basically a huge tv made of smaller LED panel screens) and have a few cameras on the ground and maybe a tower. Then you can broadcast to the led walls and use the track raido broadcast for people to listen to with their phones or FM headsets. Its what they use at music festivals. Great idea. Ive been thinking the same thing.
Aussie style burnout contest box! The Angel Brothers knew what they were doing when they built the drag strip. It was one of, if not the first full concrete 1/4 mile drag strips, that was not an old runway.
This should be an awesome compromise. It will be cool to be up higher and still be able to see through the smoke. I'd want to wear a mask anyways with all that burning rubber😂😅😆Hope you all have an amazing time N can't wait to see the awesome footage that the event will generate.ThankQ.TkEZ>UK
The new layout sounds pretty fun/exciting tbh! Also, it's really nice to see safety has been bumped up an extra notch after that accident last time and with covid being a thing. I understand that not everyone is happy about events being held right now, but if everyone sticks to the rules set for the area they're in and think about their own safety, who are we to judge anything? These times are strange and tough times for all of us, but our boy Cleet is doing whatever he can to bring the joy and freedom to everyone while trying to keep things safe for everyone! Hell yeah brother!
There are worse things to be called. I reckon Aus is doing pretty well all things considered and the people are spot on. Its on my "places to go once the kung flu clears off" list.
@@nocheesenome Sounds like it. My mate from school moved over there a few years back and he loves it. Everything I've seen about the place sounds great. Well apart from the spiders. Time to get me on holiday over there as soon as china's bs is cleaned up for it.
@@siraff4461 spiders don't eat much when they bite you...its the crocs, snakes, sharks, deadly jelly fish and numerous other deadly animals here that'll get ya haha.
@@nocheesenome No problem. So I have to stay away from the sea, rivers, lakes, grass, toilets, any kind of tree, built up areas, open areas and anywhere humans can go. Got it. I'll just stay in the car the whole time.
Cleetus - looks awesome!!! Burnouts slowly picking up again in Australia!! Ps pls speak to Jeremy about some beard maintenance!!! Keep up the good work man!!!
I'm stoked I'm coming from the middle of Kansas to see it. I came a couple years ago and it was great, sounds like it'll be even better this time around.
As someone who is high risk and not vaccinated I appreciate your willingness to try to keep things safe. It was my 2021 goal to attend an event of yours but not sure it'll happen.
Vaccination won't change a thing. It nearly killed my friend's grandpa, he suffered a heart attack following the vaccination. On top of that, it just doesn't prove to actually work, be safe, or prevent contraction in the first place. Just saying. Be free and live your life how you want to.
@@a-a-rondavis9438 Actually that's incorrect. I'm sorry to hear about your friend's grandpa, but it's scientifically proven to be highly effective and the decades of research and evidence we have on vaccinations has shown them to be incredibly effective in the eradication of diseases/viruses. Absolutely important to wear a mask and prevent contraction as you mentioned, but also important to get vaccinated when possible! :)
long rectangle pad, big stands and no standing (american) burnouts...starting to get more australian every event. Now you just need a tip in road and use the aussie judging system and we might see some serious driver development
@@roberthandy9420 I go every year and I shoot at multiple events around the country every year. The sport has had its up and downs and at the height $100,000 prize money for a single competition. Hope to see the Americans catch up some day.
I'm ready to see the El Chromino make It's burnout debut & see what Ole Demo can do in a burnie car. Also, patiently waiting Sir Toast to make his debut...Absolute MONSTER!! Hell Yea Brothers🤘🇺🇸
this was filmed at the location where they get there shirts made... the t-shirt shop just got upgraded to a ginormous compressor (literally the size of a car)
I agree 100% If you cant see everything in your purifieral vision, your to close. Save those areas for the people who have collected participation trophies all there lives.
Brother I've been to every cleetus and cars houston except the first one, and I think this new layout will be great, because the one problem I had with the old way was that you basically had to choose between drag racing or burnout competition (as a spectator) if you wanted to get a good position to watch from, I'll be at the show and I can't wait, hell yeah brother 🤘🤘🤘 do it for Dale!!!
The fact you can even make these events happen at these times is unreal ! People should be grateful they can go to any event and should understand that it’s going to be a bit different but you’re obviously doing the best you can ! Big ups from Australia 🇦🇺
I like the new layout. It's always been a pain to actually see the burnout contest over the sea of heads in front of me, and I'm 6'2". Get to see the whole show from the same bleacher seat if i want to. I'll see you guys on the 20th!
It is quite simple if you are concerned about rona stay home but you being concerned should not infringe on others freedom. This is America if you want to go out in public do it and if you want to hide in a bubble do it. We are all adults and know the consequences so we can make our own decisions based off of that.
In a liberal free world, it would be that simple. This b.s. is nothing new. A 100 years ago, they were making alcohol illegal. I hate to think what's next on their twisted agenda. It's not going to be good.
@@Studio23Media Your an example of someone who only knows a little bit of a subject and erroneously believes that they're an expert. Like the liberals today who support NWO and open borders via religious organizations, liberals were doing the same thing a hundred years ago. The primary groups behind prohibition, like the Anti-Saloon League and the Women’s Christian Temperance Union, were run by extreme left liberals. The real force behind the movement was Wayne B. Wheeler, a liberal icon who lead the Anti-Saloon League. If you want more information on the subject, the Smithsonian Magazine wrote an extensive article on it. I feel if your worried about Covid, keep yourself at home. There is no shame in being cautious, but dont judge those who would rather live their life and enjoy themselves, then live in fear.
@@michaelwynne4346 Yes. People who wear masks are scared, but they're only scared of infecting other people. Masks do not protect the wearer, it only helps lessen the chance of spreading viral droplets to others.
I don't like it much either, I just want to race but that's me I'm an old fuck, let have there fun, I'm happy to see them try to make it safer, I was waiting for someone to get hurt.
hahahahahahahah You think us Car people are following COVID rules down here in Houston? We have 1000+ car meets here in Houston and no masks.. so yeh.. you just wasted time and money.. just shoulda done it normally.
