$9.99 is a deal for what you've invested to entertain us! I'd pay $19.99 if the production quality is better than the F500. I buy a package deal for PPV + Limited Edition Merch... T-shirt, Hat, sticker, key tag for more. And PLEASE get the small t-shirts back in stock for my kids!
Do like 49.99 or 59.99. Gets you 2 or 3 PPV, depending on how many Cleetus decides to do a year, plus you get the "elite" merch like u suggested...Id totally buy that deal
@@xogmaster exactly, Cleetus needs to see this and make it happen. Espically if you add limited merch that isn't available to just anyone. Like i mentioned before, make it the FF Elite series, or something along those lines, hella people would be down for it i think. Espically if he did do it, and then got a plaque made with the names/user names of the people who purchased, and had it posted at the FF. Kinda overkill maybe, but would be really cool to be on the 1st wave of people that helped get the FF going, i mean our merch purchases make us part owner in the FF right?! We are helping pay for it lol.🤘
I’d like to see different Ppv packages. Base package (9.95 live stream) Freedom package (25.95 live stream and t shirt) Bald Eagle package (49.95 live stream, t shirt, hat, and event poster) or something like that
I've tried all kinds of racing but the most fun event I've done was a cruiser class at our local track. It's where you move the gas and brake pedal to the passenger side and have a passenger control the speed while the driver can only steer. It would be a great event for the Vic's you already have
I think the reason most of us love this channel is that we get to live vicariously through you guys - just pick something fun, turn a camera on, and we'll be there to watch and support!
Also for the first time it was good, the guy who presented it was doing his job really good, only the microphones of the guys in the buildings were bad. and yes it will improve. everything improves if you want it. Still hats off for the first time, maybe the track needs MORE light it was a bit too dark tbh.
I say put it to 20$, us that love y'all will pay it, hell Yeh brother, y'all risk it for the biscuit we'll stand behind yall, keep up the great content brother, I know I wait patiently for daily bodycam footage lol
Small speedway near me (indiana) has a figure 8 school bus race every year...always some sick wrecks. Its awesome. Not many tracks left like that anymore
Everyone that loves his content and his style of videos. Show him support. If your like me. You’ve been watching cletus for a few years now. Buy his merch. Get his PPVs. Let’s show Garret, James and Cooper that we’re here for them too. The guys are as genuine as they get. And I’d hate to loose this RU-vid channel
I wish I could afford merch but living in New Zealand the exchange rate is 1NZD > .58c USD plus postage and handling.. it was gonna be 200 bucks for 2 dang shirts brother! Need a big order haha
@@jamesmay6674 just do what you can for what you love. I have tried to buy those America straw hats. I don't see why they don't make more to sell. I would love one.
The freedom 500 was great but I say every 20minutes you cut through the figure eight and run the track the other way. That should add a little excitement
GO CART RACE!!! “FREEDOM 250” You could do it in the figure 8 but make it a small oval, ya know? Like set up cones or somethin. That would be sick/fun to watch!
$9.95 was more than fair for the content we got even last time with everything going on... you got a lot going on right now with everything and your not out here setting up a go fund me getting hand outs your selling a product the product is a amazing production you put on and I applaud you for that
You’re a very humble guy I appreciate what you’re doing even though everything’s going on still enjoying your passion and being straight up and honest with the viewers 💯💯💯💪🏼
Hey Cleetus, i would like to recommend looking in to "pay what you want" pricing model for your PPV (maybe with a minimum?) pretty often people will surprise you with how much they're willing to pay and it can often offset+ the people willing to pay only the minimum.
i think that's a great idea!! i'm just a working-class normal guy, but i'd pay double of the last ppv just to support and also…. it was freakin' awesome!
i agree with that. Probably would be a good idea to set a min and then whatever extra people want to throw in kinda like a tip or donation just to split up the cost of the PPV and donations made.
I watched this video again today and cannot believe the difference on the track between then and now although I've been following every single upload of yours. Big respect to you man Hell yeah brother from Cape Town South Africa
To develop the thought a bit: you could have teams, and each team could bring their own car for each event. Or, perhaps you could do a free for all where each person brings just one vehicle that has to be able to it all: drift, burnout, and finish with the demolition derby 🤷🏼♂️
@@Drspeiser maybe each team brings a drift/burnout rig and then use the crown vics for the demo derby or a bump pass race where you have to hit the guy on the rear quarter back before a pass can be completed
I had the same triathlon thought but using the Crown Vics you already have with maybe a much shorter "sprint" type race, "the Freedom 100"? Coupled with a time attack/gymkhana event, followed with a demolition figure 8 to literally finish them off?
Yep, take the freedom 500 crown vics, give everyone a set budget and a day to modify how they think best to compete in all 3 events. One day is the builds, next day is the races.
Instead of everyone out at once, do it like the “spectator drags” that a ton of circle tracks do. Two at a time, anything goes, one lap, draw chips and do eliminations down to the final pair. Edit- two laps, by popular vote in the replies!
1990bandit2 I think the big field is best for the Crown Victorias. But I’d love to see some spectator drag style with other cars. Say the Bald Eagle machine vs Toast. Or any other cars that visit the Freedom Factory.
Hey Cleetus team, I just want to say thank you for your commitment to the team you have. I am so glad that YOU are the one in charge of what happens in your factory. I think it'd be neat if you reached out to any of the drivers from before the track shut down and set up a race in that light!??? I'm not sure but whatever you come up with is going to rock!
I’m thinking like a nitro circus style event. A little bit of everything. Drift, jumps, figure 8 races, SxS shenanigans. A little bit of what you guys do that we haven’t seen yet.
More Ppv! Man that’s was something of the most organic racing I have seen. One thing I wish we could do is select pre race cameras to watch. I also want more Drone footage. It was so awesome.
10 youtubers bring 1 of their CURRENT cars. 20 lap race, then figure 8 drift comp, then burnout comp. Overall winner gets a "youtuber car of the year" trophy
Thanks for the update..I'd been thinking about some of the things you answered...and I'd be happy to support any ppv event you do. Thanks for all the great content.... loving the Month of Freedom..! 👍
I paid for the last PPV the day of (paid the 15$) even though I was gonna be working and couldn’t watch. Just really wanted to help support one of the most consistently creative groups out there.
Did the same thing here. Paid for it day of. One for me and one for my wife. I can't figure out what merch to buy. I want it all but that's not feedable. ✌️
I loved the PPV, absolutely worth the $9.95. You guys have provided so many hours of free entertainment, it's a pleasure to help you through these rough times. Stay safe and healthy!
For sure i would pay to help you guys out, love all the content from you and your other youtube friends. I really enjoy you bringing all the great channels together like adamlz / pfi / fasterproms / boostedboiz and of course vaughn and finnegan 😎
Mate all the way from Australia we salute you and the brothers 👊💯 one of my bucket list items is definitely a cleetus and cars event , and take out the longest distance travelled award at the event 😆
Give every team a crown vic from the first race. That team has 1 month and 3k list price to make it compete in: Knockout Drag Race, Knockout Drift Contest, and finally Demo Derby. The events happen one month apart. Total budget cannot exceed 3k including sponsored parts. Tires are free and provided by Nitto.
Great idea, I will add a couple race ideas...bag race (two people driver has a bag on helmet)...backward skid pads(skid pads wielded to front wheels two laps in reverse) each team gets points in all five or six races
Drift contest, leading to a burnout contest. Followed by a crown Vic time attack. Then crown Vic demo derby with the freedom 500. Gives more variety then just crown vics and gives you a little drift content with Vaughn and Chelsea / Taylor and Adam.
Well I'll support you with likes and watching the ads on your videos garret your content is brilliant and it's keeping me going during this pandemic I'd love too come too Florida for an event
$9.95 seems pretty reasonable, especially given you still gave everyone the option to watch the whole thing without PPV a week or two later if they didn't want to, or weren't in a position to pay to see it on PPV. If $9.95 covered your expenses and put some extra in to covering ongoing overheads it seems to be a winner all around. I'm really liking all of the FF content, seeing it come from where it was, the work you guys are putting in, and getting it to where it's at now. That behind the scenes has been a nice ride to see just how much work goes in to something like this. Hopefully one day when all the travel restrictions are lifted I can make it back to the US again and come see a live event there!
Unconventional idea: Invite 24 drivers (like half "semi-pros" and half "average joes") that will pair up into 2 man teams the day of the event. Teams are drawn randomly out of hat on the live stream so it is luck of the draw. Run 4 events total and use a scoring system for each event. e.g. 1 point for first - 12 points for last; lowest total score at the end wins. Use the 12 cleanest Vics (single tank of nitrous to last the first 3 events) left over from Freedom 500 for: Autocross using the entire FF (think track and pit area behind track). Each team driver gets 1 attempt and their time is combined. Drift comp. The teams must choose 1 driver to complete this event. "King of the Hill" style race using the oval or some variation with the infield (12 car bracket; 2 cars race heads up for ~3 laps and winner moves on). The driver that DID NOT do the drift comp must complete this event. Rubbing is encouraged. Finally, use the 12 roughest Vics left over from Freedom 500 for a 50-100 lap "2 man cruiser" oval race (gas pedal and nitrous control is moved to the passenger side; driver steers and brakes, passenger has control of the gas and nitrous). Obviously James would have these prepped in advance. Hilarity ensues...
Freedom Factory: Frankenstein 500...... Each car in the race is pulled from a junkyard and all replacement parts must also be salvaged from the junkyard! (Exception for safety equipment)
Great clip Cleetus, great to get an update and to hear everyone and everything is going ok! probably a scary time buying the freedom factory but who would have ever thought a virus would Bri ng the world to a screaming Holt! Keep up the great work and hello from Australia.
get vaughn, taylor, adam together and set a PPV event with some really high quality drift competition since all their drift comps are cancelled too. Make it really talented drivers too so the quality and intensity is insane. Maybe throw in a burnout competition in the middle for you and your boys but have some skilled FD and other guys like taylor shred for some sick competition at the FF to show how good the drifting can be there
Ye not really a big burnout fan but drifting would be sick and maybe some time trials would be cool too, like on Road Kill. Also you don’t have to be limited to just the track, he could also make some motor cross jumps at the back too.
I agree do a time trial drift competition. The track is fast I think you could put out some good times and content cause people will be sending it for that fastest time
This plus invite chairslayer, hert, Ken and much of the hoonigan crew to this event to boost the views. I would love to see the hoonicorn/cossie/hoonitruck rip the freedom factory, as well as the twerkstallion, snacks aka Andreas bakerrudd and most of all chairslayer on the freedom factory track.
Chariot Race: Front car driven regularly. Second car being pulled by chain. Second car is disabled but has a driver to steer. Chain breaks, you're out. Invite the guys from Zip Ties and Bias Plys, and the Project Binky fellas.
I kind of like the idea, but in the sense of recycling, convert all of the current crown Victoria fleet to backseat drive. And have rope style steering
Hell yeah brother! Price is amazing. Keep it up and DO IT FOR DALE!!! Much love from Cincinnati,Ohio!!I know you said you guys were good for money right now, but if that changes we are here for you brother!! SWEET HONEY BARTLE SKEETS!
Make an Olympics type event!!!!!!! Everyone competes in all categories and have an awards ceremony at the end. 1. fast lap in a particular car. 2. best drift event 3. something in side by sides (best air or make a short offroad track) 4. best autocross time 5. ect.
Cleetus! Thanks for making fun content. My suggestion for a future FF event: Have teams make Mad Max vehicles with (car-wrecking) weapons and defensive armor and have them duke it out on the track! Last vehicle capable of a full lap under it's own power wins.
Freedom 500.5 featuring: -tug of war -fresh to flat tires for time - burnouts -figure 8 elimination derby -survivors crown vic demolition derby -wheelie race -reverse only race -tandem race (driver steers, passenger has gas/brakes)
The racing action in the freedom 500 was way better than I expected... I would definitely pay again to watch another one. Maybe throw in more laps and pit crews, good tires, weight reduction, more power... etc.
That I think would be an improvement, and would definitely pay 9.95 to watch it. But I would really like a BYOR = Bring Your Own Ride event. Where people get a budget. They buy their own car, whatever is left over is spent toward upgrades. A basic roll cage, seat, harness, etc is free anything more than that they can add to it and not go against the budget. Getting Nitto to throw in 2 sets of tires shouldn't be that hard to do. They get some insane advertising from Garrett. Pit crews right now and even if things were better I don't think that would be all that great. Maybe have a halfway intermission and everyone changes their own tires. Maybe even make a competition out of it. Quickest person to change the tires gets to start in front, then second quickest second spot, etc. All in all, more competitive racing, less cautions would be awesome.
Let the driver have the wheel and passenger gas and brakes. Then swap out after 50 laps. Make it even better than the freedom 500 🤘🏼 Edit: or vice versa. May be much easier to put the steering wheel on the passenger side.
As sketchy as the 1 person drives a second person shifts passes they did with the Boosted Boiz when they first got the Crustang were I don't think any of the cars would last the first 50 laps. Also, swapping the pedals (or the wheel I suppose) would be a lot of extra work to get the cars ready. It would be a better fit for a future demo drag type event when destroying most of the cars within a mile is totally OK, and each contestant is hacking his or her own junker car up to spread the extra work out.
Apart from the pay per view, Give James a gro pro. Look at Jared pink from wrench every day, everyone loves him & everyone loves James too. More James video.
I would pay you $20 for a pay per view (so long as the audio in the booth is fixed lol). I loved watching it live over here in the UK, I will support EVERY pay per view you EVER do even if I cant watch it live! I absolutely love your channel! My idea for the next pay per view would be "Bring a wreck, last person running wins"! obviously they will have to fit their own safety equiptment but other than that its not a race more of an endurance run (with contact lol)!! What an AMAZING event that would be!.. From your fan in the UK Casper (and the Beast)!
I like how the website called Bandcamp does it. You have the minimum price but users can type in a larger amount if they want so those who wanna be graceful and give more are allowed to. And of course all extra money goes straight to the crew and the track
I loved the Freedom 500 - I trust you and the boys will make the content pretty crazy, so I'll leave that up to you. I will say - it'd be cool if the PPV people had an opportunity to also buy an exclusive shirt or signed posters from the racers. While we can't physically be there for an event, it'd be cool if we could get special merch to show that we supported the cause.
Whatever you guys do will be fun to watch and I will definitely buy the PPV early for $10, that is very fair. My only concern is that you guys keep it safe, I was worried during the last one that if things went really wrong that might tank or stain the image of the Freedom Factory. So the track racing is really fun to watch but its also about the drivers/other RU-vidrs. What about something like Freedom Factory Olympics where you can use a whole range of different events. Not everyone would have to do every event, some could be more tailored to strengths, others could be silly and fun. You could have a range of motor sport racing, mechanical ability, maybe even a special talents event with a few judges. Could have a medal ceremony and even a bonfire/Olympic torch! I realize multiple events sounds like a pain but you could wrap up one event and immediately switch the feed to the next event. Maybe Olympics is to grand, maybe triathlon style or Iron Man style is better just 3 or 4 different events that everyone participates in would be a better starting spot.
You should give an option on the site to pay more than what you're asking for ppv. A lot of us would pay well over what your prices are just to support you as much as we can
And you'd get more than twice the total amount of money by lowering the price. Many people will pay more than the minimum but the majority of people who would pay something aren't willing to pay $10-$15 for a pay per view of mild interest
I have all of the merch that I want so the rest would be pointless and waste his product. I’m not saying to make the PPV more expensive. Just allow people to pay more for it as a sort of donation if they want to
@@LittyLavern I agree. I would have dropped $100 on the Freedom 500. Imagine if the production would have been as good as the video they made about him buying the Freedom Factory. I'm not interested in merch. I do like to support the channel though. I also have to say. Paying for the 500 was easy. Awesome concept. I'm not into the live stream format. If they don't have an agenda I'm probably not going to buy in.
Water barrels and othet obstacles on the track!!!! Seen a few other videos of other tracks doing this and it was pretty rad when people would hit them! They also had water sprinklers going in the turns lol
This sounds like a good idea. The budget shouldn't be too big this way and also shouldn't be overly dangerous like nailing the walls like a few did with the freedom 500. Having the option to build them from scratch would probably be good as well since they probably could record videos for content during the build on everyone's channels. Maybe toss in some restrictions on engine size and or weight to keep a handle on things.
The Factory 1000 : Dragrace Event with only cars above 1000 ps with the boiz, pfi, jeremy, vaughn, rob, swangang, hoons, taylor, finnegan, john doc, turbo john, 1320 crew and so on would be an idea, additionally a burnout contest, and of course a Freedom 500 race part 2 coz it was so epic and the partitipants from the first one would surely conquer your throne. :) big shoutouts from germany Brother, love to hear you are all doing great!
I'm down for a PPV again. Perhaps a triathlon starting on SxS's, then circle track, go-kart road-course the inner track, and end up with straight up bicycle race or some nonsense. Gotta have spicy spence
Once a majority of the crown vic fleet has been totaled from these events, a scrapyard wars challenge would be awesome. Maybe 3-5 teams each get a not-running vic and have to cannibalize the remaining vics to get their's running in time for a race.
This would have to be after the lockdown, but I think you're in the perfect position to bring back the RU-vidr Project Car Challenge. The Freedom Factory has everything (as far as I know) except for a road course. Maybe you could collab with Aaron Losee (probably spelled his name wrong) to come up with categories & a points system for the builds & events. It would be THE best automotive youtube event since the Freedom 500 and Drift Week!
Brother, that was the best 10 bucks I ever spent. I'm in. The audio was bad, really bad, but I'm sure the next one will have a lot more sorted out. I'll be there!
