More often games just tend to show off their graphics and that's it. For the witcher 3 it's not just any cinematic trailer, you'll soon realize the significance of it when you're playing their latest DLC. Everything was planned from the start.

Okay, here's the back story: she was likely a higher vampire. Higher vampires are extremely intelligent, rare, and misunderstood; they do not need blood, but can become addicted to it, as it is a stimulant to them. Geralt doesn't like hunting them as they are extraordinarily dangerous and sentient. While I doubt they have a personal history, Geralt likely regrets having to hunt her as witchers are likewise rare, powerful, sentient, and misunderstood. But he's a monster hunter, and while humans may persecute him and be true monsters at times, he will do his job.

how hard was it to identify her as a vampire? did you not notice the blood sucking, super strength, super speed, invisibility and the fact that her skin burn to ash comes dawn?

Ya know, looking back, this trailer represents the game surprisingly well. Even down to showing that there's a person or story behind every contract you do. It's not often nowadays that a cinimatic trailer actually represents the final product this well.

The review was on point, even basing only the trailer and not the actual game itself. Proves to me that you guys are smart and objective, and thus respect to you guys and keep up the good work! The game itself, as mentioned on the trailer, it wasn't just all talk. It's hands down one of the best games I've played, and I probably won't disagree when someone said it's one of the best game ever made. And yes, even compared to those legendary games like DA:O, Mass Effect series, Fallout series, Elder Scrolls series, Witcher 3 is the representation of what a true 10/10, 5 star, triple A game should be. And I can't even begin to describe how smart they were with this trailer, the trailer represents most of the things you'd come to face in the game. The characters, the tone/scene, how things aren't what they seemed to be (beautiful girl turning out to be some blood sucking evil creature), conflict of interest (Geralt hunting the Bruxa just because the townspeople wanted her gone), even how and what you'd be given in terms of gameplay and combat mechanics are there.

Currently Playing witcher 3 in hardest difficulty ... 2017 and this game is STILL not old.... In my opinion this game surpassed every other open world RPG in its time.

I love the grit of this, Gerald got the job done but he wasn't untouchable. The detail that Geralt just collapsed after the fight and sleeps the rest of the night

So Dan's logic is after seeing countless Witcher 3 trailers, the one that isn't even actual gameplay or graphics (CGI) is the one that sells it for him. That's just stupid.

Do yourself a favor and play/do a lets play of the most award winning game of all time, The Last of Us. It is the most cinematic and best story in gaming history, and I'm sure you'll love it.

The girl is an Alp, a High Vampire. And when she mentions, that in the past no witcher would take this conctract, she actually means that witchers don't usually kill highly sentient, magical creatures like Dragons...or Alps, due to respect of sort. Now, she's a part of the Blood and Wine DLC, which I haven't played yet, so don't know what made Geralt take this conctract, cause he had a pretty strong code not to kill such creatures, in the books. So no spoilers please ;).

If someone didnt read books, it would be hard for him to understand the game :/
