A PCP UNDER $150?! 😱 The Crosman 3622 Insyder Review 

Good, honest review. Given the price point I was considering this as a starter PCP, but after this review I think I am going to spend a bit more and get a lot more rifle.

I still think the perfect summary for this gun is that it's Crosman's "grow-with-me" pcp rifle. Perfect for starting to teach a child, and then upgrade parts as their needs/skill upgrade.

People will love it and people will hate it. I think options are ALWAYS a good thing.

Buck Rail makes great scope mounts that will work very good on this. and a few other accesories too

That might be a fun PCP to "grow into" with a few mods as your experience grows.

I think a gauge would have been nice though. Seems like a good starter PCP along the lines of QB Chief.

Great look at the Crosman 3622, Tyler! I only wish you would shoot Crosman / Benjamin pellets when reviewing budget air guns!

I think that this would be a good little platform for a lot of younger shooters. I bet if one did a b Staley mod, and increase the transfer port size a touch it would get a more progressive smoother bell curve.

I purchased one as soon as it came out. I upgraded everything including the hammerspring , and hammer pin. It shot a gamo rocket pellet through a thin metal satellite dish. It also saved my chickens from an animal attack. With usual crosman accuracy. It is extremely effective.

Personally not been much into these Crosmans - but this one to me looks like of them old Crosman PCP pistols, but just made a bit longer. $150 surely is not a bad price. Another $150 and you'll have a cheap hand pump and a decent mid-range scope for that..

Great review Tyler. I bought mine a few months back. In all honesty I did the traditional steel breach upgrade. Added a UTG 4x16x44 scope. (No such thing as over scope in my world.) Mine loves the Hades .22 also. Holds about the same group for me to about 40 yards. Great plinker entry level PCP air gun. As it was meant to be from the start. There are so many aftermarket upgrade parts for this platform that make it great for someone getting into the sport to "Build my own air rifle" and have fun doing it. Cheaply.

Very good HONEST review, and I greatly appreciate that! I think with a few tweaks (and I do love to tinker on stuff lol ) this would fit a niche in my collection. I have modded the Nitro Venom and the Fusion 2 about as far as I can go with them. Both purchased from Pyramid Air over the last 10 years (along with a few others). I am wanting to dip my toes into the PCP arena and this looks like good cheap fun way to do it. And.................will likely lead to buying even more PCPs in the future hahaha!

You should have ran some crosman 14.3 grain.

How would you know you reach the 2000 mark fill ?

No gun, regardless of the price, will shoot cheap pellets accurately. But still amazing that guns can be pellet picky and won't even shoot some types of well made pellets.

Basic no BS PCP.

As someone who prefers high-end PCPs, my initial interest in this entry-level rifle was cool at best. Then thinking (way back to the 1960s) to how many times I wished that I could have pumped up my Crosman 101 once and shot it a couple of times, I realized that the 3622 does exactly that. If the 3622 was available when I was a teenager I would have been super excited to get one! I'm envious of the new airgunners these days - they have such a variety of airguns to choose from. Hope the 3622 gets the attention it deserves! Cheers!

Why crosman why can you not go with others like rti ,fx ,daystste? Insted you make those garbage under 200$ guns!! Ok your gteatest guns were marauders but after thst nothing good came out! Sad but true.
