Thanks goodness for some good weather, almost forgotten what a warn day feels like. A walk and a beer sounds great and I like to try and keep my videos between 10 and 15 minutes which (imo) seems to be the perfect length. That looked a great place to walk and so nice to enjoy a pint outside in the sun. Good to hear that there are a range of food options available there as Mrs Metalman is celiac, so can only eat completely gluten free food now. Nice walk behind the pub and unusual to see a stoat and I remember when my parents lived in Scotland they had a family of them living in their back garden wall, so used to see then quite a bit. We take a vitamin D tablet every day just incase the sun does not shine, which in the case of this year, had almost been every day, cheers Alan
Yeah I've definitely noticed the lack of sun this year up until now. Simple things like a nice walk and sat outside in the sun will do for me , I've found I'm a lot happier as I've learnt to enjoy the simple things in life more. Yeah its good some places have a good range of food as you will probably know it can be a minefield. Completely suppressed me seeing a stoat , seeing wildlife is another bonus of walking outdoors . Jealous you get to dress spoookyyy 😩🙌🏽🖤 I'm back in black tanks and bike shorts. I ended up finding a black brin hat with neck flap. The sun is getting nice and warm 🏜🦇 It's wasteland dwelling for me!
Lovely walk there John.....quality pub too....very nice! I do love this time of year (I am more of an autumn/winter person) the light and warmth are quite special. The music in this video was really nice and relaxing as well. You do know some very special places....I do enjoy your films (Short or long).......I have a poncho....camouflaged :)
Thank you Gilly , I really wanted to depict the pleasure of a nice English pub walk , featuring a nice pub and a good walk , very simple things but what I think are great ways of adding a bit of enjoyment to your life .thanks for your feedback , camo clothing is great for blending into your surroundings , I have a green poncho but also an orange pac o mac that I only wear in dire circumstances as its a crime against fashion and I can literally feel any small semblance of coolness I have (or imagine I have) rapidly disintegrating 😂. Glad you got great weather for a change John. And agree about little breeze (as long as they are cool) during hot days. Was a pretty walk. Beautiful nature. Mybe those stones have some type of meaning. Like marking toll and stuff like that? If you find the reason, I hope you let us know. Myself only drink water and coffee (with little milk) nowadays, if I don't count my protein shake I have one a day. Don't even remember when I stopped with alcohol. Nothing I directly miss out either. When it comes to video length... both 10 and 20 minutes suits me. Longer for me is when they get closer to one hour or more. I think the sun has been missing up until now , I'm good in hot weather as long as there's a little breeze . It is a very pretty little walk , it cheers me up. I will ask some local people about those stones as they are unusual. Sometimes I just have a soft drink or a coffee at the pub myself its just nice to have a rest and sit down if the weather is nice , or inside the pub if the weather is bad. Lovely vid, the sun makes such a difference. Personally twenty minutes is the sweet spot where I will watch the whole thing straight away. Longer means I wait, sometimes only watch a bit of it.
This weather is mental man, it better not go rainy again and then all of sudden be like 30 degrees like it was here in south west wales last year, when the weather changes for the extreme it kills me, ahaha! Awesome video as always man! I personally like the longer vids, jealous you got a pub you can get to without a car! Being in the middle of nowhere in wales and the lack of trains because of the terrain.. the only way to get to our closest pub is by car and it may still be legal to have a half n drive but i dont trust it, i wont drive even if im had a sip of a drink! Also id love if you could do a video on how you made your custom hats with the dreads! Ive lost my hair due to the medication im on and can no longer have my beloved mohawk, which honestly really effects my mental health, may sound vein but it was the only hair style i really felt was me and when you look in the mirror and just see a bald head knowing it not your choice it sucks! But i need to meds so i can move around without being in pain all the time! Sorry for the rant, been meaning to comment on one of your vids for awhile about the dreads for awhile! Thanks for the input , yeah the weather is crazy , I just made the most of it while I could, it was raining the next day. You sound pretty remote where you are , maybe make your own mini shed pub or bar 😂, yeah the pub was lush , I like a countryside pub walk , I'm not a noisy Weatherspoon's man. Yeah I could certainly do a video on customising hats , I just have a shaved head myself these days so being alternative its all about hats , you can make wool dreads etc to decorated them .I based my top hats on the native American tribes who used to sometimes wear customised top hats and would decorate them with , human scalps etc , where I got the dread Idea from , best wishes 🦇🦇🖤🖤
