3 years later, this is still my number 1 favorite and the one of the best Super Mario World Romhacks video game off all time up with the NSMW series and Ruined Seclusion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
I just 100%ed this hack, it is SO good, the graphics are amazing especially the backgrounds, and the level design is so nifty and charming and fine tuned and fun. I played DKC2 for the first time recently and was blown away by it, this hack gave me similar feelings and it is a ONE man project. Mostly. Well done. One technical hiccup I should mention! Sometimes when taking the secret exit from the dark water level, RetroArch would crash. I played using the snes9x 2002 core on PS Vita.
Hello I don't know how to contact you so I'll say it here: I just finished A Plumber For All Seasons at 100% and I just love it. With all the new tricks, new enemies, great levels, new music and the revamped graphics, I find it better than Return to Dinosaur Island or Call of Cthulhu. It's on par with the Nintendo games!
Thanks! I'm honestly not sure - it definitely wasn't _made_ for MSU-1, but if you can enable it yourself somehow (I wouldn't know), it may be worth trying.
@@___wye Because is this the most (technically and generally) impressive SMW hack yet, I think that maybe someday, we might even get Super Mario World hacks that actually have *3D gameplay* (as well as the traditional 2D platforming gameplay, thus making it 2.5D) in the 2030s!

Hey, hopefully I can get a little help. I download this from smw central and it won't patch to the smw rom. Do I need a certain smw or something? I've been trying for a week now lmao
@@___wye I used the rom cleaning application provided in another video and only used the clean rom for all my other hacks. It's only this rom and "mario saves Christmas 2021" that I'm having trouble installing. My rom is the (U)! Type or whatever the order is. There a chance that I may need to clean the rom and I've been using the wrong one but I gotta travel for 2 months for surgery and recovery on my daughter so hopefully if you have any more help I'll be back around in about a week when we're settled back in for recovery lol. Sorry if I'm just being stupid and missing something simple. Appreciate the reply none the less 😁
@@dollypower9 Sorry for the late reply, I'm not often logged in here. Are you sure it's the patching that's going wrong? If other hacks work fine and only this one doesn't, it could be an emulator/hardware thing. This hack uses the SA-1 chip, which some devices and old emulators don't support. Try something like the snes9x emulator if you haven't already and see if that works. If it doesn't, it's probably quicker to ask on SMW Central.
@WhiteYoshiEgg I'm using the snes mini. I'm not near my computer for another month or so to be able to try anything else right now. Thanks for the help none the less, if I can't get it I'll check out smw central 😊
@@dollypower9 Ah yeah, I think the SNES Mini is known to not support hacks that use the SA-1 chip. I'm told you can modify the divide to make it work, but I wouldn't know exactly how. Any modern emulator on a computer should definitely work though, and if it somehow doesn't, then yeah, it's best to ask for help in a more public place.
