Very nice vid - takes me back to the mid 60's where the big family decision on a hot day was Barry, Porthcawl or Ogmore - Mum liked Rest Bay so that's where we usually ended up 😁😁

Thank you for yet another delightful video. I don't mind the coast but I am more of a forest and uplands man myself. Incidentally, would you and Mel consider doing some reviews of decent independent coffee shops and cafes or even country hotel teas that are located in and around the environs of Neath? I had the opportunity to visit parts of the Valleys mid-week and was disappointed by the dearth of good cafes. I'm hoping things might be better in your neck of the woods. As an aside, I see at 06' 39'' that one of your fans acknowledged you. I suspect that you are rapidly becoming a celebrity and a bit of a local legend in and around Porthcawl? Mel might even be becoming a bit jealous of all the Fly Drive groupies and not without good reason. Most women can't resist a silver fox. Do you by any chance recall those TV adverts from the early 1970s for St. Bruno pipe tobacco with all those skimpily glad dollybirds having to be held back by a big, nasty henchman to prevent them from mauling the hunky pipe smoker? Just to say that this one was a work of art. You arrange a great sunset. Is that footpath past Rest Bay a recent feature? Didn't look familiar, but then there have been changes since I grew up in those parts. All the best to you and Mel.
Not really a golfer myself but do know there's quite a lot of history there and quite a few famous people have played there including Bob Hope. Maybe worth doing if I meet someone who is a member.
