"God was smart enough to have them the size of a sheep" If we're bringing intelligence into this then you're just shooting yourself in the foot. God is described as perfect and all-knowing. In his all-knowing perfection, he would've known this would happen. Which means he intended for this to happen. Which sorta contradicts the notions of "merciful" and "loving" when he's committing global genocide. Bit of a contradiction, methinks. Likewise, he's described as all-powerful. Let's say that this story is true and God's hand was forced into doing this. Why not just... magically save the things/people he wanted to save instead of getting some 800 year old guy and his family to build a big wooden boat? Seems like God isn't as capable as you think he is. "The realistic reality on how the ark actually operated" The reality is... it didn't operate. Because this didn't happen. Today, we are still discovering new species of animals. We're currently in the millions. A quick Google search shows we're around 8.7 million different species. Let's just use 8 million as a nice, round number. So, this guy built a boat to hold 16 million animals (assuming each species is sexually dimorphic). He also was able to feed 16 million animals. This includes animals that are strictly carnivores or animals with strict/unique diets. He was also able to clean up after all of these animals. Remind me how long this flood lasted for? The logistics of this are a complete shitshow. "I went through it with an antagonistic eye" This would require the removal of bias and, considering how far into this indoctrination you are, that's not possible for you. Plenty of people have already broken down all the nonsense in this account. It doesn't make sense logistically, logically, or realistically. "The ark doesn't have to be hundreds of thousands times bigger" It does if you want it to exist in reality. Details above. Honestly, I'd go check out the ark encounter. If it was free. Purely because I think it'd be entertaining to see what kind of absolute nonsense people devote their lives to. Why would I bother with things like evidence, reality, or facts when I can just plug my ears and continue to read my dusty old tome that tells me how I should treat my slaves, how God killed people with rocks, and that one time he had a bet with Satan to ruin someone's life. Truly inspirational words to live by. Btw you should probably refund those people their tax money.
