My son 32 weeks stillborn didn’t get embalmed we had him for 3days with me in a Moses basket on ice and for sure yes babies do start to discolour and turn quite fast without embalming...I use to ring the morgue in Wellington everyday to see how he was because when he died it was a public holiday in NZ so he wasn’t able to be cremated right away due to back log of other people who had passed before him.....I had to leave him in Wellington hospital morgue they were lovely and so kind and then I had to drive 4 hrs back to Hawkes bay in Napier without my baby...a week later he got sent in the courier to Hawkes bay hospital but the most cruelest part is they made me collect his ashes from the maternity ward and as new parents were walking out with their babies in car seats I had to walk out with my boys ashes in a wooden box which I wrapped in a blue and white fluffy cloud blanket...I would have rather pick him up from the morgue then to go through what I had to endure. So much more to my story with my Son Sebastian 💙💔

And I thought it couldn't get worse after reading that in some US hospitals, a celebration sound is broadcasted throughout not just the maternity ward, but the whole hospital whenever a life birth occurres...But what you were forced to endure is indefinitely worse, and I hope that the decision to do this to you has haunted and will continue to haunt those who were responsible for it. I'm so sorry for your loss, and for what you were forced to endure and have had to endure ever since losing Sebastian. 💔

Here in the USA, in 1989, my best friend passed away at 17-19 weeks pregnant (proven malpractice). The medical examiner had to remove the fetus as part of the autopsy. However, when her mother inquired about getting her deceased daughter and baby to the funeral home together, the ME stated that he had disposed of the fetus as “medical waste”. Horrific!!! My friends mother was already grieving and then to be told her deceased unborn grandson was thrown out as “medical waste” was absolutely disgusting. 🤬

@@dpberryUnfortunately not, it's a "natural" result of decomposition, though it happens/is noticed much rarer than people would have you believe, as the phenomenon has been sensationalised as a type of morbid curiosity, vs. a natural consequence of extremely tragic circumstances.

On Sunday, I will be attending a visitation of a woman who was 8 1/2 months pregnant and died in a car accident. She was a fellow Mom in my community. I really don’t know what to expect and am wondering if the baby will be out of the womb laid to rest with mom or not. Sounds to be an open casket and I just wish I knew. This may be controversial but my 10 year old daughter insisted that she go with me, knowing beforehand what she might see. She wanted to be there for her friend. This woman was her friends mom and our Girl Scout leader. The baby was place in moms arm and both looked as good as it gets, I believe. So, (Trish here) I asked the lovely mortician this morning about frit, and she had a different use... perhaps a difference in dialect? She used it like to waste something to ‘frit’ it away, where we would say fritter. Loving your videos! Question: Have you ever had to prep a body for a viewing where someone was being viewed in a regular setting as if they were still alive? Ex. I've seen an older lady place at her table playing cards because that's what she loved to do and how she wanted to be remembered and a guy was placed behind the steering wheel of his favorite car.
@Areyoudyingtoknow
@Areyoudyingtoknow 3 года назад
Hi Tiffany, hope your well ☺️ We know the two cases you are talking about, there is another one you can google it. A guy sitting on his Harley Davidson motorbike in a glass box and the whole thing was buried with him still sitting upright so cool. For that kind of 'I would call' extreme embalming a lot of rods are used under the clothing to keep the bodies in an upright position. I have never be asked to present a body like that only certain things to be placed in they hands and unusual outfits to be dressed in. Thank you for your question, take care 😊💚

Ladies your comments in this video has made me think and i have a question. I live in the US. If I came to Queensland on a vacation and died during my visit. How would my body get back to my family in the States? What would happen to be?
@Areyoudyingtoknow
@Areyoudyingtoknow 3 года назад
Hi Barbara, let's hope that doesn't happen but if it did, you could be cremated here and have your ashes flown back over to the USA, but would have to check if your state had any requirement for arrival of ashes. Or your body could be embalmed and sealed in a metallic bag then into a sealed coffin then flown over, again would need to check what your state laws are in your area on receiving human remains. The funeral home that your family have chosen would do all the work this end in Queensland, on finding out what the rules and regulations are in your state so families don't have to stress about that part. We hope you stay very healthy and safe, take care 😊💚

Hiya,, Thank you so much for my reply, Its Sha puma wildcat lol,, Am i allowed to ask another question,, My mum passed 2 years ago through cancer, No autopsy was performed .. She was sorta left in a fridge for 9 days without being embalmed or any thing due to no death certificate as her DR was on holiday and had to wait till he returned for it to be signed, She was then embalmed so we were allowed to view her, I went 4 times to visit her with other members of the family who were a lill too nervous to go on their own, My question is, Each time i visited her, her eyes seemed to open a bit more as did her mouth. 1st visit both were closed but by my 4th visit ((5 days after 1st)) eyes were half open as was her mouth,,Any ideas why this happened, to me this was beautiful but other family members were a bit freaked out,,,, Thank you and im so loving 2 posts a week, great stuff ladies xx
