One of the most enchanting stories that I've ever come across on youtube. It is more than an autumnal interior decoration vblogs as there are so many on youtube. This is a portrait of a beautiful friendship. And of course, the scenery of Vermont at this time of the year just took your breath away. A slow tour of this beautiful inn with your soothing voice as the narrator, sharing your personal memories of the place, makes it more memorable. Thanks for not adding loud music and going fast pace so that we can really savour this special tour. The owner of the Buckmaster Inn has got an exquisite taste and artistic eye - all the handmade touches to the light and airy rooms, displaying all the treasures from the past in a new light, dried floral arrangements culled from nature, nautical touches, the many moods each room convey; from cosy to quaint, from idiosyncratic to timeless, it has been truly inspirational! Thank you so much. Happy autumn and warm greetings from Scotland, UK.
Hi Carla, I can see why you like staying at the Buckmaster Inn. It is so beautifully decorated and comfy cozy. I love the blue bedroom that you stayed it. The drive up is so pretty with the changing of the foliage and the blue skies.❤
Carla, let me be the first to share a comment today. Thank you for 30:56 minutes of relaxation and enjoyment with your Vermont and B&B tour. When I get home from Church on Sundays, the first thing I do is to look for your video; and sure enough, it is there for your viewers. I loved seeing the foliage. Here in New York City, our trees have changed color at about 20 percent. You make Sundays even better with your interesting content and engaging manner. See you next Sunday. God bless you, Robert
Thank you Robert. Yes, I could not believe the Color in Vermont. It was just stunning no matter where you looked. Have a wonderful week, and again, thank you for watching!
Beautiful, Autumn in Vermont, a lovely inn, and a good friend. What a wonderful trip. Thank you for sharing, Carla. Have a terrific week. See you next time!🍁
Carla, what a beautiful video. The fall colors are stunning and I really enjoyed touring the inn. Very creative decorating ideas, antiques, warm and welcoming. Thanks for sharing
Stunning scenery! The Inn is beautiful! Love the entrance door with all the distressed paint colors and all the white furniture. Always wanted to visit Vermont. Hopefully one day. Thanks for sharing some New England Autumn Vibes. 🍁🧡☕️🎃🍎
What a beautiful place! Definitely a place I want to stay at when visiting New England. This video was truly inspiring! ❤ Thank you for sharing the beauty of New England!
Hello Carla, Lovely Autumn scenery driving to The Buckmaster Inn Bed & Breakfast. Your friend Liz appears to be such a warm friendly lady and I appreciate her assisting you with the tour. I think I counted 5 Christmas 🎄 trees that Liz was talking about and upstairs smaller trees in each guest bedroom 🌲 her home must look magical at the Holidays. I love how Liz has names for each bedroom, certainly history is there which is a very rewarding and homeworthy touch. Carla, Thank you for taking us along on this magnificent tour. 🍁🐿🍂🧡🎃
I loved this, Carla! I think this would be a great place for my husband and I to stay sometime. I looked and the rates are very reasonable, especially including breakfast. It would be a great location to take a ride over to Woodstock and Grafton from. We took our trip to Wilmington this past week. On the way back, we got off on route 5 to go to Kringle Candle and found a tiny little antique store run by a retired couple. I found and bought a sugar and creamer set that was 50% of for only $12.50. I looked it up when I got home, and they are Myott Staffordshire Royal Mail Brown pattern. I saw them both on Etsy and the creamer was selling for $35 and the covered sugar bowl for $49.99! They are in great condition and went into my hutch. Don't you just love a bargain on your little treasures. 🧡
Yay, what a great purchase!!! I love Kringle Candle. Did you have lunch there and did you get to Yankee also? I hope you had great vacation. I agree with you, Liz's rates are very good and the breakfast is guaranteed to be great!
@@mynewenglandstory We stopped for breakfast at Cracker Barrel in Mass and then did some Christmas shopping at Yankee candle on the way up. We did not eat lunch at Kringle, only because we had had a delicious breakfast at the Wilmington Inn!
❤ love the tour of the Inn. It is right in my love of cottage core decor. Does she clean this pretty place herself? I would hope she has outside help, can’t imagine the work to keep up with the cleaning, plus cooking, plus washing all the linens. How many years have they owned it? It is one of those ideas that look fun and easy but definitely is not. Hats off to owner.👍🥰
Yes, Liz does a great job with her Decor. She does do all of the cooking and cleaning herself with the help of her Husband, Rich. They've owned the Inn for 26 years....a lot of hard work for sure. Thank you for watching Margaret!
Excellent closing transition. Enjoyed the video. Was hoping for the kitchen tour, but maybe another time. 😊 Nice to see familiar places. You gained a subscriber today.
Have you been to the Calvin Coolidge (30th US President) State Historic Site in nearby Plymouth, VT? Don’t miss it! Take the CCC road from Shrewsbury over to Rt 100, then to 100A. It is, however, a dirt road, like so many in VT, so be careful. And did you know that Aurora Pierce, long time housekeeper (over 50 years) to the Coolidge family is buried in Shrewsbury? Her family ran the general store there. She was a legend in Plymouth. Thanks for the beautiful video!
