A prequel that didn’t explain anything… so glad I watched this as a matinee 😂

I found myself holding my breath like I could be quiet for people. And I hated when everyone started walking all at once! I knew it was going to be too loud! lol

That was my only critique the whole movie. How tf this cat knew not to meow the whole time?? lol

I was watching this movie like “I really need Tony to do a voice over for this cat, cause he talkin!!!!”

Lupita was fire on Hot Ones! Thought I was watching a scene at one point. She went through several raw emotions in the span of 20 seconds that made me laugh, feel genuinely concerned, then laugh again 😂

This felt like a cash grab. They sucked me in with Lupita and Joseph Quinn, who I think are phenomenal but this took us nowhere we haven’t already been🤷🏽‍♀️

They are called Death Angels and they don’t consume humans but instead use humans as fertilizer to grow their own alien plant food.

Cats when they are nervous, are very quiet, it is a natural instinct. My cats when the weather is bad, like thunderstorms and such they go silent. Slink to the basement and hide. Usually they are meow Magee 😂 but thunder or driving in the car, they go mute. The cat named Frodo. ❤

I enjoyed the movie, I'm just waiting on the explanation on what the aliens are doing here. They kinda touched on it a little bit, when Frodo and the dude stubbled upon the alien pod nest, but still no clear answer. I don't have a favorite because the whole series is great.

Yesss! I resonated with all the points. Love Lupita - she killed it. 🔥 The addition of Frodo was 🤌🏾🤌🏾🤌🏾.

This last one didnt feel like an horror movie to me. It was a drama movie with horror elements but we did get some added lore about the creatures. Btw they just kill, not eat, humans one scene shows what they actually eat so… food for thought

I didn’t love it as much as Part 1 or 2 but as a survival thriller with aliens, I really enjoyed my time. The characters were enjoyable and Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn were excellent together. Great review

I’m glad they didn’t try to explain anything and just went with a new set of characters to connect to. The issue is the second white boy wasn’t as compelling as Lupita and the cat. I would like to see a 4th installment after this with Djimon’s character expanded

I really enjoyed this movie. This is the only movie in the Quiet Place franchise I've ever seen, so I'm thinking about checking out the others. It was well-acted and had me feeling very invested in the characters, and yes, the cat's well-being was very important to me too. lol

Hilarious review... the cat(s) deserve an academy award!!!😂 I'm mad though that I still have questions, but I know that's the pipe dream.

Gotta say this movie made the monsters soo non-threatening. After watching, I couldn't help but think how these things took over.

It was a fine movie. The acting was excellent! I came in with an expectation of learning more about the alien’s intent, government response, etc. so disappointed and that impacted my experience. Would give it 🎷🎷🎷

I saw the film and the acting was awesome but I was expecting something different, more background on the aliens why they came to earth, what did they want. Also there wasn’t as much suspense as the other two films, I wanted more of that. I give the film a 6.75 lol - but you can’t deny the wonderful chemistry of the actors, the emotional impact and the acting. It was a different kind of sci-fi horror film which I can’t say was bad just not what I expected. Oh and just my opinion but I hated the cat in the movie, can we say ANNOYING 🙄

The further away I am from watching the film the less impressed I am with the film...but...I don't know what else I expected based on the premise/trailer so...I feel like I can even rate it. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I like #2 because we finally got to see what the Aliens look like. Maybe I have to watch #3 again.

I think the action was fitting for the cast. More believable.

I didn't like it. I didn't need the relationship exposition between the main characters. I wanted to know more about the aliens and how that developed. This was a drama with some aliens in the background.

Well, first @Tony Baker your bracelets would get you killed. All I heard was the clacking when you did the hand movements lol. As far as this franchise, this is my least favorite. I felt like they just wanted a reason to tear up NY. I was expecting an explanation of where these aliens came from although, I'm with you, I think they're just grumpy. I'm a big fan of Lupita & she was phenomenal as usual but, since we know no more about the aliens than we did the last 2 movies, I feel like this wasn't needed. The first one is still the best one.

I haven’t seen the other ones, but I did see Day One in theaters the other day in 4DX. I feel like that made it more entertaining. I feel like without that, it might be a lil underwhelming. I enjoyed it tho.

***SPOILER*** What I really appreciated about this movie was that they didn't try to cram a love story down our throats. I personally hate when the movie has an unnecessary love story to drive the movie forward. Instead there was a friendship that felt organic with MINIMAL sexual tension. Plus, if there even was a love story to be had, it could have been with the father who had his family at the theater. You could have also dove into the complexity of him killing the guy to save his son and losing his wife. Then here comes dying protagonist to lick his wonds before she dies. (Thats just my imagination going lol) Overall I like this movie and it's worth a watch.

I have a question for people who really love their pets, like they are their children who have human children as well. I was never a pet person, so I don't get the whole pet experience at all. However, it makes sense to me why someone like lupita, who that's all she has, would risk her life for a pet. However, I'm wondering if people who have both and love them both would put their kids at risk by trying to keep the pet as well? Not judging, just generally interested.

Tony, you missed that the aliens brought their own snacks. And the kitty was sampling them. Also, I’ve seen a lot of people act incredulous about the cat. They obviously never had cats before. Cats know stuff before you do. Plus, Frodo has an extra layer of training as a service cat. As for my ranking, I actually like part two, but Day One is a better movie.
