Do you offer a manual handwheel option? Do you offer expansion kits? Do you offer an option for rainwater collection? Ex: to redirect water for topping off a Koi pond ect. Do you offer bracing options for areas that have straight line winds? Do you have options for accessory lighting?

Question about rain water, how is it directed to the ground from the built in gutter system?

I should explain this in another video! If you walk through the install steps, you'll see that we have one corner junction that's already drilled out for water. In this one, you let the water drain through the hollow post and out the bottom.

@@theluxurypergola Where does the water exit the bottom of the downspout post? Is there a side that is open where we can redirect water? Yes, another video would be helpful as I've seen no examples of this system in use in the rain to see where water goes or how much rain it can divert. We would be looking to install on a deck and would want to redirect the water as it comes out of the post.

Question, on the wind resistance. Is that mph with the louvers open or closed? Honestly, 100% of the time the louvers would be closed and my concern is the high storm winds in Florida. Would the louvers need to be opened each time there is a high wind storm? Being that the louvers would be closed 100% would it even make sense to get this type of pergola with a motorized louver system? Any plans on making a panel roof option without louvers? Will you offer a roof pergola so you only need 2 beams instead of 4?

Hello, the wind rating is with the louvers closed, so you don't need to open them in the stated wind loads on the website, which is most heavy storms in the Continental US. People typically buy them to open them to let light back into the house or down below, so they're not often closed 100%. If that is the goal, a covered roof may be more suitable! At the moment, we are not pursuing a panel roof option with two carrier beams.
