This is truly an interesting concept for a film although it’s high time we saw more movies about the other marginalised groups in concentration camps. It’s not about oppression Olympics but hearing about more varied stories.
@@abhijeetmalhotra1345 my question is not mean spirited. Sundance serves obscure artists movies which won’t see day of light in India. Some films barring ofcourse. Now her major audience base is in India. How does this work?
@@bhanunm sorry for the tone of the reply earlier. I understand fully what you mean. I think unfortunately in India we are overtly cautious and practical even in matters supposed to be liberating, like indulging in art. Our Indian audiences need to push themselves and their standards too. And that will only happen when pages/people with following and influence encourage that. So in that way it is a great exercise and frankly a great contribution to the state of cinema in our country. Instead of just labelling something as 'obscure', we as an audience need to try and reach it not to do any favours to anyone but for the enrichment of our own experience. Any experience away from your day-to-day is extremely valuable and I hope more of us wake up from our herd mentality. This state of affairs where films only get traction if they have the numbers to declare it a "hit" is quite depressing.
Definetly adding to my watchlist. I know you are covering Sundance. If you happen to see, would love a long review of Mr. and mrs. Smith (thoroughly loved it)
I watched your Argyle recommendation and went and watched it and my God, was it a steaming pile of hot garbage. What an awful movie. I am still shocked that you recommended it. I would really like if you made a video dissecting the movie.

I really enjoy your reviews but you can't sneak in spoilers for other recent shows while talking about movies. I'm still on Succession Season 2. You do this often for the movies you review too. Not cool!
