Greatest of all time. He doesn't need 17 world titles. No one has of will ever come close to PRIME MVG LEVEL. Today we've seen a MvG that came close to that level. Sadly he's not as consistent as he was years ago but hopefully that will come again. When he's in this zone with a bit more doubles hit, no one will beat him.😂

Mvg has done it again! Now he has surpassed Phil Taylor’s premier league winning record with 7 wins now! Mvg has truly played at his very best tonight! I feel like he could be back to his winning ways again! Just imagine 7 days ago, he had a shoulder injury and everyone was worrying he wouldn’t play in finals night. And look at him now. You would never believe he would win the title this especially after his shoulder injury, but look at him now! He is a winner yet again!

Wow i wasn't expecting that tbh,which is mad because its MVG,but he did say its about how you play on the final night,absolute Darts royalty,and to do it against Smith the number 1 seed and Price who is on fire at the moment,take a bow MVG greatest darts player ever.

Michael has never been my fav player because I usually go for the underdog. But since his recent frailties my admiration for him has grown shedloads. He's not as dominant as there are more players throwing huge numbers, but his mental strength is still to be reckoned with. I think Price might be better off as the villain too.

MVG was incredible. At his best, nobody will keep with him including Price. Great way to win the PL, beat the world number 1 then smash Price who just came off a smashing of Clayton. Well done.

To carry that average that long just shows he still is amazing . Not my favorite but can’t deny the skill. Bravo sir

Wow I’m speechless, that is sublime what I’ve just witnessed. 4 men came today to lift the Premier League and only one could win it. Firstly in the battle of the two Welshman, Price was simply too good for Clayton, such a fantastic performance that was that u think it’s hard to top that, his D10 after missing Tops was just sublime and then to finish with that 131 finish was just the icing on the cake. Then in the battle of the 2 Michaels, we all knew it’s gonna be a superb match and until 2-2 it seemed brilliant and then MVG just goes crazy and leads goes up a double break. It looked like Smith couldn’t do much and the game was gonna be over quickly and then all of a sudden he hits back with 3 legs in an row and it looks like game on again and it was very close in the end, if MVG didn’t hit that D10 to win it, the match would have been in Smiths hands. Price was put as the favourite for this event and rightly so as he is the form player over the past few months and has been superb in the Premier League but u just can’t deny MVG. From the shoulder problem last week when he pulled out and him finishing behind Smith and Price and not playing as well as them recently and then to beat them where it matters most on finals night its just breathtakingly ridiculous. Like MVG has mentioned before and we all know that if they all play at their best MVG wins but to then produce that level and beat them both back to back is just phenomenal. MVG also says it’s all about doing the right things at the right time and boy did he do exactly that in final, from 2-2 MVG pulled away once again with a double break just like in the semis. The big fish and then the 128 both for consecutive breaks on the Price throw were just unreal. I was sitting there with my mouth open like WTF, this is ridiculous. Once he takes a lead like that he’s not gonna give it away and it was just a matter of time before it was all over. I did feel bad for Price at the end there, u could see he was so gutted and disappointed that he didn’t bring his best level in the final coz if he did it could have been one of the most epic finals we could have witnessed but MVG was just too good tonight and I don’t think anyone should count MVG out again. He has won his 7th Premier League title, breaking the tie with Phil Taylor to be the most successful man in this event. Overall it’s been a decent Premier League and I’m looking forward to it next year.

Was rooting for Smith. But it was M.v.G who went beastmode at just the right moment. 7 time PL champignon now. For me he’s not there yet, but give him 2 or 3 moren World championships and he will be the best dartplayer ever!

Congrats to mvg, played fenomenal; in the end well-deserved pl-winner. In the end price couldnt find the trebles in the final and had an almost unstopable mvg against him. Unlucky for price who dominated the last nights, but mvg was there and took his chance.
