I thought I would try an evening session out from my local area of Alnmouth since the weekends have been too windy to get out. The forecast was very good, with light varialbe winds forecast and a small 4.2m tide. It started off very slow as the tide was still standing, but it eventually picked up and we got a few nice codling up to around 4lb. As the evening went on things got quieter with lots of interest in my lure, but very reluctant takes, so I decided to cut the session short. I think this was mainly down to the small tide, with quite a slow drift, so I wasn't really covering the ground... Very enjoyable though, and always great to get out.
