Salutations. I think there might be some confusion and some people might've mistaken you for me. My name is also Jacob and I'm the liaison for The LGBTQ Bass Federation of North America. Apologies if this has caused any inconvenience.
@@jeepwrecognizejeep1391 lol idk if they have confused this gay for being the lbgt rep he doesn't have any type of metro sexual mannerisms, but I hope everything is well for you and the community
@@1-Six-dee majority of those within the LGBTQ community don't have tell tale mannerisms...it's not like I skip down the street wearing a tutu sprinkling fairy dust Lol. It isn't what the media depicts it to be. The only reason I even learned about the mix up was because a handful of people had asked me about my RU-vid channel which confused me because I don't have one, which is what led me here.
@@Catholic1391 I have a khatoic specific sub tuned box and it's huge barley got in my trunk was hoping to put the setup in the Blazer you know big box inside of a small box.lol but I have a spare in the trunk/ refiguration of it although. Dummy tire and enough room to access it as well
Agreed. I was once seduced by having the most cone area possible, but box space and construction to match is crucial to performance. If he turned the box 180 and fired towards that trunk, he might be louder.
I was offered to trade my ported 12" for an enclosed 15" yesterday by one of the guys in my unit. Kinda relieved that I didn't take him up after seeing this 😅
That thing might be acting as a mini 6th order Becuse the poerted box is in the boot with a “blowthrogh” exit between the rear seats! Great use of space
I love accurate bass that you can clearly and cleanly hear every bass note as meant to be heard and I guess it'd be SQ-SPL because it's got to disturb the peace and make dogs howl from blocks away 🎵🔊🔊🔊🎵🔊🔊🎵🎵🔊🔊🐕🎵🔊🔊 gotta love it! Something about making everything romp and jiggle with authority is just satisfying to me it's how I unwind and refocus my mind from stress
No wait so here is the specs of the Amp he was using and these if true is very impressive 1 x 1400W @ 4 ohms (14.4V - 1% THD) 1 x 2650W @ 2 ohms (14.4V - 1% THD) 1 x 3200W @ 1 ohm (12V - 1% THD) 1 x 4700W @ 1 ohm (14.4V - 1% THD) 1 x 5600W @ 1 ohm (16V - 1% THD) 1 x 7100W @ 1 ohm (18V - 1% THD) No wonder he is shaking the car to bits and also obviously a very good enclosure is causing some havoc along side everything 146.8DB is great my system is somewhere between 137DB and 142DB.
1 15" is my favorite set up. I had a 15" T2 on 700 watt hifonics in a 85 caprice Landau A 15" T0 in a 99 Grand Prix on a 1200 watt hifonics 15" T0 on Jl 1000/1 v2 in a 08 HRR Now I'm working on 2 DD 2508s on a M1D in a 99 Land Cruiser. Nice set up bro!
@Howard Minkler did you get your DD bass setup finished? I really like DD, I want one of the DD M5 amps bad! BUT they are so expensive! Think last time I was looking at it that it runs $2700. A lil rich for my blood for the moment but I will break down & get one eventually. For anyone who has a good quality sub then its truly worth investing in a good amp to power the sub.
@@itdoesntmatterwhatyourname6128 I have yet to install my 250 amp alt to get the most out the amplifier. For now they hit. I picked up a Rockford T20001BD for $350 and like it way more than the M1D
@@howardminkler484 you got a deal on your Fosgate amp! I believe that t2k is the older style amp (kind of silver/grey color) but that's still a killer deal. For a 2k its a beast & under rated. I'd love to have a pair of the newer model Fosgate t2500bdcp amps to strap I bet they'd sound nice. You could probably sell your Fosgate for double what you got in it, depending on how it looks. I know most the used ones I'd looked at on ebay a while back were scratched & beat up bad. I've never understood why ppl will pay so much money on their gear but then not take good care of it. I try to keep all the boxes & instructions to all car audio gear I buy new & do my best to keep it looking good & like new.
@@itdoesntmatterwhatyourname6128 hell this is my second T20001BD, the first one I got was $275 I was going to wall off a 2door tahoe with 3 T015's but I got injured and wasn't making big money anymore. I am going to put the T2k in my 97 Towncar Cartier pushing a Harmony Audio 18" (1,750 rms) I cant wait to finish that set up, I just need my HU repaired (clarion DRZ 9255) and the sub. I'm running CDT audio in both vehicles, they have a sale going on where their higher level speakers are only $99.
@@howardminkler484 hate to hear about your injury, that sucks not being able to buy the gear you want when you want it! I'm not working atm either, been submitting job apps but not even a call back yet. Dang bro where ya finding these good deals on Big Fosgate amps? Find me a pair of the slick black t2500bdcp amps if you can! Cheapest I've seen one was about $1100 give or take. Do those Harmony Audio subs sound good? I've seen them on Amazon, they look nice. So your single 18 setup like I am right now. Sure wish I had the room for two 18s. My cousin has been wanting to buy my sub so I'm considering going two 15s since I do have barely enough room to squeeze them in. Thinking about giving Resilient Sounds a shot IF I don't buy the new Deaf Bonce Apocalypse 45 15.
I have a 2011 E350 Cabriolet AMG. I'm putting 5k watts in it. I want bass to shake the fillings out of my teeth, give me nose bleeds & make me sh.. my pants.!!!! Hahahaha
Nice touch using the broken door handle that breaks easy after being opened a lot and broke the trim trying to take the door panel off to fix it.. It's beating but not that hard
so wise preach my single 18 is retarded loud . But I have been building boxes for 35 yrs now. so the more you build em' the better you get at it. better they pound
Exactly I have an 8500 watt American Bass under powered at .5 ohm getting about 3400 watt rms and it's stupid drop tearing my Buick apart beat by beat.. literally
@@itdoesntmatterwhatyourname6128 well I can do it but its not cheap and shipping is hella expensive when you ship a box just letting you know . what sub is it for and what kind of vehicle is it going in.
@@AlanRaybasshead yes I know from everything I've looked into so far the shipping part is expensive but I also understand due to them being both heavy & large. Then the fact alot of them are awkward in shape so takes up a good bit of room on the freight truck. I was thinking about going ahead and getting a better/larger ft^3 enclosure for the single Skar ZVXv2 18 dual 2ohm subwoofer I have right now in the trunk of my 2003 Ford Crown Victoria PI. It's currently in a prefab so it should have potential to sound better & hit harder. Was going to do that while I'm getting everything together to for the build I'm going to put in my car. Was planning on going single 15" but now I'm debating on whether to just spend the extra $ and get two 15" subs that way I'll have more cone area instead of having 3" less cone area than my current setup with my single 18. Either way the single 15" should hit way harder due to having substantial higher power capability than my current sub. Time will tell.
Finally someone eho knows how the bass game works facing the subs the correct way open port to let the bass in tge car n he got dynamatt oh man i wish i could hear it in person i bet its insane hard i love wen i hear clean ass basshits w no rattling mettal fuckin shit up ay
My whole life I've never seen setups like this. Back in the day 2 12s and a 1000watt amp is all I needed. Now today. I have 3 12s black diamonds. In my sonic with 1500watt hifonics amp. Stock battery stock alternator. She bangs though.
Dam im running a dc audio elite 15 on a jp43 boxed tuned to 28hz and js 320 alt and this dude has more flex but i doubt its louder i have 3 layers of 80 mil kilmat and just ordered a jp 40 lithium today
One time I put 2 kicker comp 12’s inside a box and a kicker solibaric 10 outside the box and I told them it was just the solibaric because they couldn’t see the comps and people would flip there shit when they heard it😂😂
Go-Rilla Jacob I was curious if you could ask about box size cf. when you get demos. The trunk builds in particular, I think it may help people estimate what size boxes may fit in their cars. I'm always curious. Thank you
@MoneyGlitchGod’s Son yes I had 2 kicker l7 12 with a kicker kx 1200.1 800.4 for my highs. With a prefab box. I hit 149.7 dbs So yes 2 12s can be loader.
Not if both those 12s don't add up to 2500 RMS like this speaker I have two Kicker L7 12 but the Q class version so that's 900 RMS each in a q-bomb ported box with a kx 2400.1 powering them and I still don't get 146
@@adrianescobedo9498 Thats no c63, it's a c350 with exhaust, that's definitely not an AMG, the steering wheels on AMG's are different, that's just a plain old c-class, I'm a Mercedes tech, and i've owned a dozen AMG's over the years
Guy in my country does 151DB@29hz using a ZV4 15 and a DD815 doing 145DB@28hz on a 3k amp guy just upgraded to Sound Digital 8k so guess he will move to a 148DB at 28hz or so...
@@HoweyJR_ I wouldn't say their trash but always going to be something better out there but ignore everyone as it's your equipment so do what makes you happy and if it jams then run with it. Just lookup 1500-2000 watt RMS Amps in google and you'll see tons of options. Thanks for watching and being a subscriber Howey gl.
He needs to dump all that and get all new stuff. How can you drive a Mercedes and install all that garbage in your car? The stock system is probably louder than that.
There ain't no way that system can ever break the door handle on that c class. I have a C63 and they're built very solid. "Did your door break from the bass?" "Yeah..." lies... pfft...
