Citizen is probably the best watch brand for budget

Citizen deserves TONS of credit for the Eco-Drive. It works, and they have proven that out over 30 years of full-on market exposure. Seriously, I saw the first ones in the early 90s. Even Seiko couldn't get their Solar movements to perform as well. Citizen is capable of great things, and this new auto confirms it.

I purchased the yellow dial citizen in November 2022 after seeing the watch on IG. The yellow dial really captured my eye and it's stunning to look at and I also have received several comments and a lot of people have asked me where I purchased the watch because it's not available in America.

I'd prefer to get a Citizen Ecodrive in this price range because they're the most easy to use everyday watches I've ever had, no battery changes, no winding and they're accurate as well. You can choose from hundreds of models, simple 3hander to Chrono to GMT. Citizen QC is also much better than other brands in the same price range.

I will buy this Citizen after watching your video . The Yellow colour looks damm cool . I was loving teal colour but after watching your video I feel yellow looks more vibrant . Thanks

I just got the blue frosted one for 240 euros last week during black friday. I'm very satisfied with it, and the newer 8210 calibers even have the hacking feature!

Casio offers the most for the money, but Citizen offers the best entry level mid-range watches. Casio and The Citizen Group are all I need. Bulova, Citizen Eco-Drive, Miyota Movements, and Alpina. 👌🏼

Thank you for that great shot about Citizen. I like the yellow version indeed and it is perfect to wear when you are in Paris just like now. If they get it, no big worries, shall they take it and have fun while you can still be relaxed in that nice city.

i have the ''tiffany blue'' one, opened it, played a little bit with the raquette, and now it goes at plis minus three seconds 👌

You buy Rolex to impress others. You buy Citizen to impress yourself.

I chose the Tiffany blue face, which looks awesome. Had mine for 2 weeks now and love it. Bought in UK at H. Samuel. Ticket price was £300, but I got a discount so paid £260. Excellent value 🙂

I love my white dial Tsuyosa. May have a generic movement, but it keeps decent time and it has the hacking feature on one I got.

Loved Seiko's but am now a traitor have two tone NJ diver in blue $290 sub lookalike awesome, want many of the Tsuyosas simply beautiful Citizen all the way😊

I got the black one. I have a large collection of watches, but I love the look of this Tsuyosa. Bracelet feels premium and looks it too. Apart from the deployant clasp being pressed steel but no one see's that. Not that accurate nor legible in the dark for very long but who cares? It looks premium, feels good and I enjoy wearing it.

The Christopher ward c63 Sealander 36mm was a great alternative to the Rolex when it was as available, but do have other colours available.

Thats a great looking watch, looks better than the OP IMO. I'm really over boring oyster bracelets. If that Citizen had the 9000 movement, and was made of titanium, it would be perfect, although dearer.

I was looking for a new seiko as a daily wear, but when trying on the new models I didn't like them. To big, ugly dials and expensive. They also had a tsuyosa which caught my eye immediately, I tryed it on my wrist and now I own one, with the black dial. It runs a little fast (7-10 sec a day) but to my surprise this model has hacking, the reviews I saw didn't have hacking. The bracelet looks nice and feels very comfortable, very good budget watch in my opinion.

How did get Rolex Oyster for so cheap I can see it everywhere at thrice the price.

People sing this watches praises and I agree it's very good looking and well finshed. But anyone who is thinking buying this should know the next things. The quality feel is bretty bad, I don't expect watch this price to be solid, but this is worse thab another watches I have handeledbin this prizepoint. The date looks shotty and its really hard to wind. Also the dial look very different in real life. In sunlight it's lot paler yellow than in the pctures. And the dial color changes a lot depending on the lighting. This ofcourse can be positive thing to some. It's a very bretty thing, but all the money has went to the aesthetics in this one.

The Rolex is way out of my wheelhouse; I ordered the black Tsuyosa as a sort Seiko Sarb033 replacement. Haven't received it yet. If anything I'd prefer it was 2 or 3 mm smaller. I have a big wrist, so that's not the issue; I'm just a little tired of the big watch fashion. Big strong soldiers in WWII wore 33mm watches.

It looks a lot better than the SNXS79 in my opinion.

The Rolex is better but in daily use the experience with the Citizen will probably be about 60% of what the rolex experience would be,especially for someone who is not a watch enthusiest.Ive compared 5000$ divers to 125$ divers and found the wearing experience not markedly different between the two.

It's a shame when any watch manufacturer feels the need to put "automatic" on their dial. What a waste of dial space.

Make's Rolex look chunky and fussy anyone unfamiliar with brands would choose Citizen no contest.this soon to become a classic icon try to get early non hacking will end up rarer. Will have watch snobs pissed off for years they hate the movement cos it outperforms lots of exotic ones theres a reason it's been around for nearly 50 years others keep building new ones trying to get one right.😊😊

My Tsuyosa is crap. The accuracy is all over the place from -38 to +47 on my timegrapher then it will go to 0 for a bit then all whacky again. I’ve demagnetized it twice and it’s no better. The only positive I have for it is the yellow dial oh and the crown is abysmal also.

Decent value but the crown at 4pm, the little cyclops & double marker at 6 kill this for me. The Rolex OP is much better in 41mm, but sadly discontinued of course. Just my opinion 👍🏻

If you want a great watch at a good price, buy a Citizen. If you want to impress yourself and waste your money, buy a Rolex.

The crown placement is ugly and stupid…can’t get over the look of it! Ruins the whole look.

The watch is garbage. Feels cheap on wrist. Looks cheap on wrist. Cheap movement. Scratches easily. No brushed steel. Absolute garbage.

Rolex. Is butt ugly, chunky, fussy dial ugly band, looks dated anyone not watch snob would choose Rocky(Citizen) over Apollo(Rolex) . Also Citizen 8210 movement has been used for so long because it just works so well a testament to is design accurate and rugged . This time it's Rocky2 ADRIAN

lets be real , this is in no way a Rolex alternative , there is a huge quality Gap , but from the look it really has something from a Rolex , but only for People who have no clue about watches , I have the green dial version , Green is the Classic color of Rolex , but i swear i didn't buy it for this reason , it was just good looking to me .
