If this is true. Then why did Jesus choose Peter as the man who he would build his church upon. Peter cut the guards ear off with a sword which he should not have done.
He didn't build his church upon Peter himself, that is a Roman Catholic contraption. Peter was in the process of becoming spiritual. He also denied Christ entirely after the ear thing, so he clearly wasn't there yet. The disciples did and said lot of things that were wrong and often didn't understand Jesus at all while He was still teaching them. None of them had reached a state of Theosis yet, and the Holy Spirit hadn't even come yet to lead them until the Day of Pentecost. These people weren't perfect and holy before Christ called them and taught them.
Too much of this religion is enter heaven enter heaven enter heaven, we have to fight to not be killed here too, why does no one teach this. This is why we must must turn from the world in order to stay alive here and preserve our spiritual life afterwards, which makes getting to heaven easier. Meow

I don't think you heard the message friend. He made that clear, yet internally we have peace. John16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
It's not rubbish, you simply understood none of it, nor do you understand Christ and His various reactions. No one is claiming that people don't err, but Theosis is a real thing and you should find out what that means. It makes no sense to whine and cry about it being impossible just because someone calls for you to be better.
