I remember being a teenager in a rural town and no one else listened to this kind of music & how I wish someone else did haha. Now I’m 33 and coming back because I miss this. & the feeling it gave me.
34 still jamming haha my town sucked I was the poor welfare skater kid haha always had a band though we were called power cause fuck the jocks hahahaha
this album was gold man...so many killer melodies...and they were fucking good on their instruments too!! this album and Hopesfall's The Satellite Years are essential...rare little pieces of gold that most people missed out on!!
2. Good song but just not the song for me to cover. I let this be! Thank you though! Hope you guys can see my other song covers in review contents! Thank You! 🤘🎶🎸
It’s crazy I can still sing it word for word and it’s been 8 years since I last heard them and now I’m wondering why it took me so long to check for a video 😂😂
I was playing this on repeat back in 2005, man it feels like it was just yesterday!! This music changed my life forever, i'm so grateful I got to live this incredible music era in my teen years
I couldn't find this album (and don't forget to breath album) on spotify, apple music and everything, but today, i found this cd (used) in some kind of music store in my country, i feel so lucky! :D
Made out to this song on the way to wildwood New Jersey back in the day cops stopped me and my girl for getting crazy in the backseat on the New Jersey turnpike lol.34 now and still this song is awesome.
Here I am at 35 still so sad these dudes had such a short run I think they only put out 3 albums and them being in my opinion the best screamo band from that era.. my first show too this music genre, I been to metal/hardcore shows, they played with Silverstein and hopesfall one the best shows I ever been too
Holy shit! Can't believe this was 10 years ago. The nostalgia is REAL. How is it possible that I still dream of Brett and Dan after all this time!?? The only high school crushes that have never gone away. They're probably married to the luckiest ladies alive by now, haha. I honestly hate what this genre of music has become, but this band (the original lineup) and this album continue to blow my mind after all these years due to the originality it encompassed. They were the gateway to my passion for metal, even though I considered them a guilty pleasure. Thanks, ASL. I wish they would reunite for just one tour. Would buy tickets in a heartbeat. Does anyone know of any of the original band members current projects? I can't seem to find many that are still active.
I just discovered this wonderful band yesterday. They are terrific. I love this type of music anyway but they really know how to express it. (Their version if Toxic is better that Brittney's :P)
