Your videos are so nostalgic, reminds me watching my mother cooking in the late 80s early 90s. I absolutely love this. Your like a mother to us all with your cooking. My mother died in 2009, so this channel really brings back wholesome loving memories !
Kay what can I say. It always absolutely makes my day when you post and me and my sister watch every single one of your videos together. Never stop being you love you kay❤️❤️❤️
Kay, I’m from Lincolnshire, and the best Yorkshire Pudding recipe is from the Yorkshire Chef Brian Turner. Equal amounts by volume, either in a cup or a mug, of eggs, flour and milk, and a pinch of salt. Works every time for me. Love your videos.
I have a recipe for you Kay… hopefully you can eat it! 😊 Cinnamon cupcakes: 200g caster sugar 4 eggs 160 ml (⅔ cup) vegetable/sunflower oil 200g self-raising flour Vanilla essence Cinnamon (however much you want - I didn't measure but probably used about 2 tsp) 1. Whisk all ingredients (except flour and cinnamon) together until completely smooth. 2. Add flour and cinnamon and mix until smooth. 3. Pour into cupcake tin (lined with paper cases) and bake at 180°C (Gas Mark 4) for about 20 mins or until a cocktail stick / kebab skewer comes out clean. (Remember to check all the cakes because they don't necessarily cook at the same rate.)
It's ok Lee. My ex husband thought cauliflower was called white broccoli up until I told him otherwise, because that's what his mom taught him, and she doesn't know any better. Not too bright. It was quite funny though.
use any glass from your kitchen and measure one cup flour, one cup eggs, and one cup milk into a bowl. Doesn't matter how big the cup is as long as you use the same one for each ingredient so they're in equal parts. Little bit of salt and whisk it into a batter. Let it sit for an hour and whisk it again before you use it, perfect monster Yorkshire puddings every time!
I don't mean to sound dense but wow! What u said makes perfect sense to me. Idk why I've always thought I needed a measuring cup to get it right lol. Thx for the tip! 😆
@@MyHeroMacademia I know, my whole life I was trying to convert cups into grams before it clicked that it's about ratio! Just use the same cup for everything and you're good to go. This recipe never fails me :)
Great job with making the videos! Meat, carrots, beans and cauliflower look so pretty/yummy ❤ together with all the colors! Keep up with the salt, pepper and other seasonings! Gravy was perfect touch!
There's nothing quite like a nice fried stew to lift the soul. I prefer mine boiled but each to their own and that lot. You are right when you say that you can put anything in a stew. I have eaten many stews in roadside cafes all over the place and have found lot different stuff in the stews, blue plasters is quite a common thing to find in them. I do remember one time when eating a stew in a service station and ended up finding the tip of someone's finger in my meal. Stew really can be the lucky dip of dinners. Fumbs up.
Kay! Its a brilliant looking yorkshire pudding dish. Doesnt matter that it did not rise, you are not cooking to impress Michelin reviewers. I will eat it with Lee and you any day.
HEY KAY! Huge fan and long time viewer! Love all your content. Was hoping you could make a recipe my grandmother used to make for me!! Day 1 of asking :) 230g soft butter or margarine (butter is better) 110g caster sugar 275g plain flour 1 tsp cinnamon Half tsp of vanilla extract Milk chocolate chips (However many you like) White chocolate chips (roughly a fistful) Dark chocolate chips (half a fistful) Fudge chunks (half a fistful) Step 1. Set your oven to gas mark 5 (190C or 170C for a fan oven) Step 2. Mix the butter in a big bowl with a wooden spoon or with an electric mixer until it is all nice and soft, then add the sugar and keep mixing until the mixture is light in colour and fluffy. Step 3. Add in the flour and add the rest of the ingredients. Mix it all together with your hands until it makes a dough. Step 4. Roll the dough into balls and place them a bit apart from each other on a lined baking tray. Flatten the balls a little with your hand and put them in the oven for around 10-12 mins until they are golden brown and slightly solid in the top. Step 5. Leave the cookies on a cooling rack until cool then serve. Please make this Kay! It'd absolutely make my day! :) :) :)
Hi Kay, great video content as always.Any good home cooked stew is great comfort food in my opinion, just like home made soups too, love them! I think given that you didnt have the right kind of tray for your yorkie, you still managed to give it a good bash with what you had to make do with, so well done! Id just like to add, as I couldnt help notice that for a wee while, your past few intros for your videos you dont seem your usual cheery self, that I hope everything is well with you♥.You're always giving us recipes recommended by other people to try, would love to see you do a video of some of what you and Lee's favourite meals are, that you would normally have for dinner outside of your channel.👍

Looks like a good dish, Id eat this all day. Good work kay!!!! Did you season the beef before cooking? I like to use montreal steak spice just a small dash for extra flavor.
As much as I love your videos I'm confused as to why you have no sides in the kitchen... I dread to think someone's landlord isn't looking after them properly
You need to put a lot of oil in your tin make sure it's hot really hot so that the oils boiling before you put your Yorkshire pudding mix in... Now for Yorkshire pudding mix.. you need a cup of self raising flour a cup of eggs (6eggs) and a cup of milk mix it all together with a pinch of salt put that mix in your tray with boiling hot oil in it leave in oven then for 20-25 mins xxx
kay you mentioned your puddings used to rise and now they dont, are you using self raising flour?? if you arent youd need baking powder to make it fluffy

Kay, thank you for your cute videos! Cheers from across the pond in Canada! I can't help but laugh everytime you say "carriots", looks like a very nice and comforting dish though! I worked in a British theme pub for many years, so if you care for my advice, for your yorkies, all equal parts of your mix, blend very well, then rest in the fridge. THEN you put in a very hot, well oiled tin! Bake well or they will deflate💜Sorry about your pan!
KAY! I love ur food! I am a huge fan of you and I also happen to be thai! I would love for u to cook my favorite dish "Nam tok moo" It is a very tasty dish and I am sure you will love it
Kay, you have such a wonderful supportive son. Let’s get on with the beating lol I like your old beaters, old appliances were made to last. I love your Iron Maiden shirts
Had to pause and tell you Kay, there is a use for colas of all kinds in cooking! You might look into a few recipes using it 😉 It is a surprisingly tasty addition to stewed meats in particular! Love you 💞
Try heating a bit of oil in a cupcake tin first for about 10 minutes before adding the Yorkshire pudding mixture. Smaller puddings but they might rise better for you.
Ohh i have an idea its a really good pasta! Hand full of cherry tomatoes. They gotta be the small boys that look kinda oval. A bit of garlic. Use as much as you like but warning it's not supposed to taste garlicy Salt and pepper about a crank or two from one of those grinders will be fine. Butter is the base of it all. Don't go overboard. Once all of this is together you reduce it down a bit and make the tomatoes kinda break a bit but not all the way. At this point put you pasta noodles in. (rigatoni) Mix it all up and use seasoning to taste. After all is said and done take it off the heat and let it sit for one min. Put baby arugula in there to your liking and mix. And top with parmesan cheese shredded and granulated. Also can use granulated while mixing the baby arugula in Serve it and eat it 🙂 So cherry tomatoes Garlic Seasoning Butter Rigatoni noodles Granulated and shredded parmesan Baby arugula PLEASE TRY THIS YOULL LOVE IT its what i make at my job as a Chef
