We would also encourage you all to donate blood and blood products at every opportunity you can. Clara was heavily dependent on transfusions of red cells and platelets and IVIG.

EDIT (Jan 2018): Thank you all for the kind comments. As of January 12, 2018 (which we call her butterfly re-birthday) she is 7 years post-transplant and 7 years in remission. She is a happy and thriving second grader and still visits and talks to John.
