I claim this direct to be "things I didn't know I wanted direct" Samba and Layton I wouldn't have guessed at in a million years. With Samba getting announced, I hope more companies try to revive dormant retro games
Bruh RU-vid sucks, I’m subbed and I had to check if you posted a vid on the direct directly from your channel after watching several other videos on it… very excited abotlut Pikmin 4 also *edit: I thought of that song too when the xenoblade trailer came on
I'm gonna presume what they showed off here for Advance Wars 1+2 Reboot Camp was very much the game's opening. Wayforward usually has these animated openings rather recently in their games. Shantae got one for instance.
Focusing on things that were coming sooner was the right idea for Nintendo this time. Lots of surprises left and right, despite the beginning feeling slower. The variety though was a huge improvement over the last one--easily. Metroid Prime Remastered though hopefully might lead to something *more* (Picture what other titles could be redone *and* enhanced like that) (Also yeah F-Zero Maximum Velocity being on NSO is huge for those who never got to play it with Multiplayer features...however, a NEW entry or GX Remaster is largely what most F-Zero fans were always looking for. With F-Zero, Nintendo is always taking steps in the right direction, but never reaching the station...oh wait that sounds too much like a jab at EA Sports with their NHL series.) I'd give this a B+
people do not realize that Level 5 almost went bankrupt and disappeared in this generation and they weren't releasing games in the west anymore and now they are about to drop 3 games simultaneously in the west
@@ATalkingSock there is a high chance they will localize them would be good if they optimized it better so it runs better on the switch, what I want are the Inazuma Eleven games, Inazuma Eleven: Ares which came out 4 years ago and Inazuma Eleven: Heroes which comes out this year
Man I *LOVE* Maximum Velocity. I think it has a difficulty curve, but learning and mastering the often tight feeling controls makes for such fun gameplay. The music (I think) is objectively better than the other GBA entries with better sounds. The compositions for the game are awesome. Plus, it's the only time we had a truly different F-Zero. I love it, nobody else seems to. Jet Vermillion W.
Oh yeah, the game *does* have the old boost system, doesn't it? I think it's fun--you only have one and you'd better make it count--but I'd say Climax definitely does it best. I hope a future entry has a system like Climax's.
I'm honestly suprised you enjoyed this one THAT much. I enjoyed it a lot myself, but It definetly felt like the weakest of this recent batch of directs due to how little New games there were. Guess I'm really out of sync with the Nintendo community at large lol.
It really sucks that franchises like ARMS have to die well franchises like fire emblem get new games even though the series shouldn't have died on the wii
@A Talking Sock oh okay, I can't wait for that also I thought you hated rpgs so I thought that you wouldn't care for advance wars since it plays like fire emblem
@The Real Jason Griffith I like SOME RPGs. I've never played Advance Wars, but I loved Codename STEAM and people tell me it was like a dumbed down Advance Wars lol
@@ATalkingSock Agreed! I’m def going to pick up the physical release since it’s not “full price” and I don’t know if I would’ve otherwise, so I’m really happy with it.
