This basically tells me everything I already knew. Actually, it's more of a long form ad. I was more so looking for a place to start and a methodology of how to learn from a perspective of a Shakespeare scholar.

Actors in the U.K. do NOT use translated versions of Shakespeare to help them. Ever. Dustin Hoffman tried doing that while working with Sir Peter Hall on The Merchant of Venice in London, and it was quickly stopped!

I don't understand that why such hard level of literature is in our syllabus when we can't even understand simple english that good? And, then they expect us to study such level of english!?
