This video is cracking me up. I can't tell if he is happy or bothered to be making this video. That said, it is quite informative.

Finally a mature driver in a Miata, not cutting through the grass, or dive bombing into another driver’s line. Or catching air with all 4 wheels. And you’re going every bit as fast. You also have a kick ass engine in that car, it helps too. So props for clean driving. Unless you edited that 1 lap that you are not doing all of the above.

Glad I just stumbled on this video. I gotta say that racing bit at the end was fuckin' cool -pretty skillful driving actually. . Makes our north woods Wisconsin ATVing we do almost look easy in comparison -and we go pretty bonkers on those, but we enjoy it. My younger brother had a mid-90's Miata years ago and this video of course instantly makes me think of it -he loved the hell out of that car too. Nice work Bill:-)

Nice driving. I was getting interested in racing one of these until I saw how many people are on track with you. Who knows what these people are driven by or how qualified to drive they are so I'm pretty sure I come out of race 1 crawling and begging for my old back back. Now if I can race against just a few people qualified enough to make up for my mistakes next to them, book me!

If you go to Autohaus Naples channel they have one of Bills videos left. It’s the first one. I’m sure they deleted all of his others he did, he owns the competition! LoL. Another interesting thing is the clock setting videos on this channel were done by someone else.

I race autocross in the csp class so i can use 245 tires along with lower stance ..my mods make it faster but not enough to to counter the time penalty..stock class cars usually place ahead

Cheapest and most competitive. Bullshit. A front running Miata will cost you at least $20K-30K. You better know a good body repair man as well. And most importantly. If winning is important to you. Then you better be really good at cheating. The Spec Miata dudes are the best cheaters in racing. Spec Wrecker Ford is right up there with them. In any SCCA "Spec" class you don't have a chance of winning unless you cheat. Period.
