3 generations Pethericks working together, moments to cherish and luckily they are immortalized on camera. The complicity between Simon and Yannis is really showing, so nice to see the new skills that are passed on from master to student. It is really great that the grandparents are getting a helping hand, please help them out with all the rooms, the convent is great but won't run away, and with all the helping hands the house will go really quickly.
Agree it’s wonderful to see this work happen for your grandparents. Amazing how quickly things can move when you have a group of hard working professionals.
@@davidbirrell8964that doesn't change anything. Maternal, fraternal, he is still Billy's Grandfather. You have a son, father and grandfather among friends and family friends, making it a very special experience...... especially FOR BILLY.
Being patient with an Apprentice is a fabulous quality. Years ago I would have learned the Masonry and brick/ block trade, but the craftsman that I was assigned to was such an awful person to work with, I didn't get very far.
I think we should all celebrate Gwendolyn 🎉 Just think all this is because of one Amazing woman and the dream of what could be 🤩 Now we have four generations of Pethernicks and some of the most amazing craftsmanship renovating some of the most beautiful places in France ❤ Giving all of us a daily joy watching the process 🥂 Cheers to you Gwen 🌹Billy you are one lucky man! Enjoying watching from Vancouver 🇨🇦 crack on all and thank you for taking us with you on your journey ✨
Ernest has worked for Dad with Simon and Yanis at the Convent - 1,2,3 generations of Petherick men. I am assuming Ernest and Archie bear the Petherick surname even though Gwen and Billy aren't married. Does it work that way in England and France? Not really concerned about surnames or relationships, because love is what makes the world go round and all these are lovely people
It is a very special experience, regardless of Billy's father's age compared to Billy's Maternal Grandfather's age. These two men are still Billy's Father and Grandfather, making 3 Generations of a Family coming together (amongst friends and family friends) to get this project done FOR FAMILY.
Billy, you come from a wonderful family and are truly blessed to have a great group of friends. It warms my heart to see the help for your grandparents. If only we were all as fortunate. Bless you all. 😊🏴
As an 81 y o woman I’m impressed and heart touched that you all have quickly jumped in to help the grandparents in this wonderful move. Of course they are reaping the best of the best but the biggest gift is the presence of all these first class men.
Another day of The Incredibles knocking out renovations like nobody's business. I have so much admiration and respect for what fine craftsmen are on the team. Simon is so competent, no nonsense and efficient. I so enjoy this channel.
There's really no better illustration of humanity, as when someone uses their own time & skills to help out someone else who is in need. Well-done, mates!
Surgical precision defines everything Simon does…he is truly a master craftsman. All of you are aces…but Simon’s calm, directed, and explained approach puts everyone on the same page, with no wasted time or materials. He is simply, and humbly brilliant. Yanis gamely jumping in where needed…but yielding his hand to Simon’s gentle guidance so muscle memory will absorb the motion is a thing of beauty.🖤🇨🇦
Granddad must be over the moon getting all the professional help from Team Petherick! I have to say Yanis will be the next Jack of all Trades if Simon keeps instructing him. Wow, it is so nice to see Rick back on the team. We missed him very much! It is just so fun watching all the the jobs switching around everywhere from the convent to the tip, to Granddad's and now maybe in the garden too. Billy, there is never a dull moment with Team Petherick. Alex you are doing such a super job of filming all this construction, restoration, trips to the tip etc. Crack On guys!
In Irish we would call your group a meithal (working group to help another). I just love the family values you all share, oh and the great craftsmanship.
Yes. You are absolutely correct. It's very special. No matter Mic's age, to BILLY there are 3 Generations there; his father, his grandfather (maternal or not, still his grandfather🙄) and himself.
I worry a little bit about how narrow the entrance is to the bedroom. We haven't seen much of the bathroom, but making sure that these rooms are accessible will go a long way towards making this a home the great-grands can age in gracefully. Love, love, love what you are doing for them!
*Simon is a master of all trades... Plasterer, builder & painter as well as many other trades. He takes his time to get all things right. 🙂 He is also a teacher as he patiently teaches Yanis how to do things too. However, I did laugh when the rubbish bag just tore apart as Yanis went to lift it up off the truck. Yanis is such a hard worker & is willing to learn everything that he puts his hand too. Alex's filming is fabulous, as he has an eye for filming & I imagine photography too. 🙂.*
OH MY!!! I just received a Michael Pethericks Organ Mouse drawing!!! I will be framing this original and hang it on a wall. Thank you for the lovely packaging. --Kathy
I know mine has been shipped end of Dec and cannot wait. Can you tell me how long it took you to receive it please? I keep looking every day now. I think you and I may have ordered the same print. I also plan to get mine professionally framed and hand it in my living room. I’m so happy for you.
@@ehpeachyloveit took mine about 5/6 weeks as it depends on the French post (I'm in the UK ) .Totally worth the wait . Just ordered the fox print as well .
Wow billy what a talented family and how lovely that your helping your gran and grandad and great to see rick again and Alex your filming is great as always and the music is quite emotional and well done grandad your dad and Simon and yanis .💖🙏💫🕊🌟
Hello from Canada. I so enjoy watching this channel, Billy. It's my daily RU-vid fix. I love to see the progress you are making on the renovation whether it be in the Convent, the Chateau or the Stables but I think what warms my heart most of all is the way that you all help each other when it's needed. The way you all showed up at your Grandparent's future home to get it ready for them was a joy to witness. Also I would like to raise a glass to Alex for his first rate filming. Just super!
Your Granddad, dad and you are all hard working! Must be an inherited trait. No sitting in front of a TV all day for you guys. Soon you will be getting your boys working and you will have 4 generations of hardworking guys. Love your family unity.
Yes, this Family is extremely hard working, I agree. That Billy's Father and Grandfather (maternal or not🙄) gave that trait to their children/grandchildren makes it even more special.
@@wiggy3333 😂😎 Nope. I replied each time I saw such rubbish. As if the age difference between someone's father and grandfather along with them coming from your maternal or fraternal side diminishes their status in one's family. Absolute nonsense.
@@enoughalready8337 But why do you care? You are the “enough already lady”. Isn’t saying it just once, enough? Why are you trolling every comment that says something about it? It is your belief of what generations in a family means, but it is not necessarily everyone else’s . So, let the people who believe differently than you have their own opinion. What makes them wrong and you right? Or rather what they say is rubbish and what you say isn’t?
Grandpa was thoughtful and had the home fires roaring welcome to the crew. Very thoughtful! Bet he’s thrilled to death with what they’ve accomplished. It’s going to be a wonderful retirement spot for them.
It’s so great to have Rick back! It’s very lovely to see three generations of your family together. It’s great to see how all of you men work so well together. I love you are such hard workers and know how to get the job done!
Well, Alex has done it again! Another fabulous intro - loved seeing the countryside and the village as well as the frost on the ground and the beautiful frosted rose. Love the color of the paint in the bedroom it complements the beautiful oak doors. Great job one and all! ❤
My dear Billy, you are looking very tired today. I hope you are getting enough rest bucko. Take a breather...you've been in high gear for a long time now. So now, you say, "YES MOTHER DEAR!"
We have met them before on a family visit to them. They used to live a long way away. Billy went there to fill up their huge outside fuel storage. Michael got his love of blue and white China from his Grandmother and he took us there and showed us her collection 😉👍🏻🇳🇿NZ
You and your team-my now go-to on RU-vid right next to Garden Answer! Showing us all that team is your friends and family, and showing what you can accomplish for each other! You are all remarkable! Thank you from SE Wisconsin in US!
We find it quite wonderful that you are training him and teaching him the skills of a craftsman. It takes time, but all things take time. Nothing is completed today. But only the day its self ! Only by way of hands on, time with tool in hand and dedication and interest will young man go from a novice to tomorrow’s craftsman.
A lot accomplished today at Gran and Granddads new house. Wonderful to see you all working toward completing the renovation of their house. Thank Billy🙏❤️
I am an old lady so bear with me - is the bedroom door wide enough in case one of your grandparents ever needs a wheelchair or walker? I only ask as last summer I was fine one day and the next day I could not get out of bed without a walker. It seems I have damaged my back and will always have mobility problems. The walker I now have only clears the door opening by about an inch. I know other seniors that have had to take doors off of bedrooms and bathrooms so that they could get inside.
This gem is pure poetry, like an ode to craftmanship and camaraderie yet I must salute the genius of a stellar musical score that keeps us riveted to the work at hand literally, Impressive musical narrative, always sensitively appropriate. Could we possibly have you scroll the excerpts used without too much bother so we can extend the pleasure,❤❤❤
Yanis works so hard to learn new things. I admire him a lot! It’s really nice to see Rick painting again. He did so very much of that while you were working on the Convent offices!
I love watching a master enjoying his craft. You can see the pasion that Simon has for working with his hands. It shows in the quality work he does to perfection. He is passing this to Yanis in all Simon teaches him.
It would be enjoyable to hear the sounds of the construction once in a while, and not just all music. Also, hearing the banter between the workers would be pretty cool too.
So lovely to see Rick back with the team and Yanis is getting to know more skills as he works with Simon. Simon the door is a beautiful that you put in a lot of skills there. Hanging doors are not easy. Alex once again your filming is expert. I love watching to see how you are going to do your opening shots to the video. Glad the team is helping Billy's grandparents. You guys are fantastic.
So glad the grandparents are getting help from the best team one could ask for. As others have mentioned, having 3 generations of Pethericks working together is memorable and being recorded for future generations is just so heartwarming. The progress goes so quickly with everyone pitching in.
Your grandparents house reminds me of the phrase that Laura on "Garden Answer" utuber and her mom use a lot "romancing the ordinary". You take something otherwise simple and make a beautiful experience out of it.
Sounds like a lot of fun to come! Can't wait. Lovely what you are doing for your Grandparents. Simon is doing fantastic. Yannis is still learning more and more... and it's awesome to have Rick back... great job he's doing.
Cheers for the project so far! Your grandparents are blessed to have you and your friends transform this house into a home. It will be a wonderful life to have family close by, knowing they're safe & comfortable.
Another professional job by all. Simon with the patience and skills. Yennis with the willingness to learn and work hard, Rick another great soul to add to the crew. They all work together like a fine tuned engine. Grandad is blessed to have them.
You guys have got to be known around town. Has anyone tried to hire you to do contractor work? Hahaha it’s so much fun to watch all of you work together. Billy when you started your channel we did not know where you would take us . I’m so glad I subscribed at the very start of your channel. I wouldn’t have wanted to miss a second of this journey. Simons vibe is just cool enough to not get frazzled, I just know when he steps back from a project he’s tried his best. Thanks to you all for helping Billy. 🏆
I've been thinking that, too - They should start a company of remodeling and restoration. I'm looking forward to seeing each new project, but I'd really love to see that chapel shine and become the new home of a small Sunday worship service. What a unique experience. The organ is just amazing, so much work and patience!
Simon makes everything look so effortless. It will be great for you and your family to have your grandparents so close and of course great job by all involved. Waiting for our first coffee in the finished kitchen. Cheers!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💯💯💯💯❤️🇬🇧 Fabulous workers one & all‼️ Yanis & Simon 👏🏻👏🏻💯💯 Master & student, lovely. Congratulations to you all. Lovely to see Rick & his cheeky smile & master paint skills, Billy, Mick & Grandad 💯💯👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️🇬🇧
We are faithful fans! Love your youtube channel. The prints we ordered to sponsor the ceiling restoration finally arrived here in California! Miss seeing Michael...such a fantastic artist! Love what you're doing at your grand dad's, Billy! It's so nice how everyone pitches in to help. Crack on...
A bit disrespectful the amount of rubbish the previous owners left behind. The crew is such troopers to clean it up. The Pethericks certainly keep Brico and the dump in business. Amazing work.
