I really really really hope this becomes big, so many good games get looked over on the site its insane, this is something that should become a top game, super super sick

There’s also “Sonic Expedition: The Trial” similar movement to the SA games, and has to zone, relic ruin and another made to learn the mechanics. Its pretty great, recommend checking it out!
thats because all these games use the same engine, Digital Swirl Engine Radical Build. I have a few DSE games that are in development. the engine is very easy to get and has Sonic Adventure movement
The Drum&Bass music it's one of the best things that this game have, so beautiful, and the animation framerate is perfectly beautiful, a beautiful game
Very pretty looking game! I especially like the menu and U.I, as well as how sharp and jaged Sonic's design is, it's so striking. I'd like to see this sort of style used more often.
As a 23 year old who didn’t grow up with Roblox, I still genuinely think it has the great potential to be an introduction to classic gaming icons for kids who don’t have the privilege of owning a gaming system. My young cousin is such a case of this, so I’m gonna start compiling Roblox games like this one for her to play.
When you do, could you list them in this reply section? Lately I’ve been looking for some Roblox games that aren’t “skibidi sigma Ohio obby”. I know for a fact that there is some quality content hidden in the rubble of Roblox games.
Seeing these are always cool, but it’s such a drag to find out they’re in Roblox. There’s advantages to it, don’t get me wrong. You get built in online multiplayer and a widely accessible platform to play on, but at the same time you have to deal with Roblox just generally feeling like it’s held together with scotch tape. The biggest offender is the camera. It was cute back in the day, but no modern pc platform should have the default camera settings be something you control with arrow keys. I’m well aware there’s settings to change it to being mouse controlled, but I’ve also been made well aware that the settings never save, right clicking at any point toggles it off (why right click??), and even then it’ll only do so if you’re lucky since support for mouse look is janky as hell. It’s one gripe, but it’s something that affects literally EVERY game. One of the worst things to mess up, with audio mixing probably taking second place for one of the most important things Roblox continuously fucks up.
theres this mode called camtoggle, you gotta take in mind the game has a cursor to click things around so roblox cant really lock the mouse in one place, you still think its not efficient? well use camtoggle (which is another one of the camera settings), or get a controller which locks the camera in place if you use the right joystick
its understandable if you dont think roblox is the perfect platform to develop, ill give you some of that, but you gotta think more in the dev side for this kind of thing, roblox’s code is much user friendly as well as its interface, unlike godot or any other game engine
...then it begs the question "why on Roblox?" It could have been an exe that once downloaded is preserved by all indefinetly, instead we have to hope that Roblox doesn't change policy at some point and take it down
I’m sorry, I will never understand why talented players keep limiting themselves to ROBLOX. I really want to play the game, but every second I’m on that God-forsaken platform I lose brain cells and a piece of my soul.
The reason is easy money, most games were made for children to spend robux, these games are played more, thus making the good games stay hidden and consequently making talented creators discouraged
Another thing ofc is the fact LUA is easier than C, C++ or C#, well, to get the hang of. And its not limiting, once you find the way around it, the only limits is your imagination, and computer process
