A Visit To The Badlands & Hiking The Notch Trail 

We took the Northern route on our way home from New Jersey to California. Traveling through South Dakota gave us a chance to visit the Badlands. A must do hike when you're there is the Notch Trail. It looks more daunting than it is, and the views from the ridge make it all worth while.
