Did you know that Long Beach has a historical society? Founded in 1962, the Historical Society of Long Beach ( @HistoricalsocietyLB ) preserves and promotes the history of Long Beach. The have over 100,000 items in their archive, which includes photographs, menus, newspapers, and even actual pieces of historical buildings.
