Sonia, you will never know how much I appreciate your videos and daily sketchbook drawings and paintings for us to see and be encouraged by! I Love all that you do to explain things and how personable your videos are- I agree with the other commenters! 🐬 thank you again!!!
Thank you - I do really appreciate the time people put into leaving a comment, it really does motivate me to make videos , as I do want them to be slightly motivating or helpful! Thank again, Sonia
I really enjoy your art videos! You really have some wonderful ideas. Thanks for sharing. 😊 I like your altered abstraction sketchbook. I have tons of old books from the library. I should use one for an altered book for abstract ideas.
Yes - certain days even a blank sketchbook page can seem to have too many possibilities but I don’t know why altering a book page - it’s easy to get going. Plus I was racing through abstract sketchbooks and a $1 old book seemed like a nice project!
Thank you so much for the continued inspiration! Love your videos so much! I love the quick in the car sketches too, I always carry a small sketchbook in my purse and it makes any wait time I have to do go by in the blink of an eye! Yes, would still love to hear about what artists you find interesting or inspirational too!
Ha! While watching another one of your videos (as I was making art), I totally wondered about what other RU-vidrs you watch when you’re in the studio-so yes, I’d love to see that video! Also in general, it’s been delightful to see how you follow your creative flow, so I’ve really loved the vlogs + sketchbook ideas/inspo. More than anything, especially since you were saying that you’re seeing RU-vid as your sketchbook, I’m curious to follow where your creativity takes you. Keep making the videos you’re excited to make & thanks for sharing! & side note, is the SF sketching group a public thing? (Which also reminds me…maybe a video on tips on drawing with groups/other people?)
Hi - so that sketch walk was with a drawing group and they charge for some workshops events , if you are in the bay area check out meet up - there’s some sketching groups there ( and they are free) , I went once or twice , but hard for me to go with kids activities/ stuff at WEs - if your on insta dm me and I can share some links . For sure I can try and share in a video tips. For when sketching with others / finding meet ups . Thanks Sonia
