This week in the garden I had a lot of jobs to slowly work through in both the cottage garden and backyard flower farm. In today's video I share a few clips of what I got up to during the week including planting ranunculus and anemones, weeding areas of the cottage garden, sowing green manure and also chat a little on how I've been feeling lately. Hey there!
Welcome to my channel, The Nature Patch where I like to share all things gardening, cooking, environmental science and flower farming in my Australian bushland backyard in south coast NSW.
My name is Robyn, an environmental scientist, and flower farmer. I have recently completed my PhD in understanding how people's wellbeing and their connection to nature is impacted by land use change but now I'm taking a break from research to pursue a dream of owning a flower farm. I've always loved gardening and nature and lately have been interested in growing my own organic food!
On this channel you'll find videos relating to garden tours, 'how to' videos, composting, soil health and how to start a flower farm.

Fellow introvert, being out in the garden is indeed mood-lifting and therapeutic. Some encouraging words from Phillipians 4 that help when things get overwhelming: "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things. 9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me-put it into practice.
