To the eye Elish looks a straight forward sweet youngster however I know this isn’t always the case but you help her look easy and wise above her years! I don’t understand how you have the internal fuel tank to do all you do throughout your week, I’d be EXHAUSTED 😧 btw I am obsessed with the hair!!!

My boy is the same with antibiotics - I tried baby food pouches and kids fruit smoothies which worked, just something to try as possibly less sugary than jam, they liked it as its sweet!

no problem at all! just make sure there's no additives in it, literally just pure fruit (I used organic smoothie pouch from Aldi) & I had to do what you did and mix it into a paste lol@@Nohorsehan xx

I actually keep an immersion blender now for my animals 😂 (bc they really are just big babies aren't they? lol) I can mix their meds/supplements with fresh/frozen fruit and mix it in their grain or mash to mask the flavor.

Han, something I learned is that sugar/sweet doesn't actually counteract bitter--SALT does. I used to do the usual jam/applesauce/molasses thing with mixed results, but then I read about the salt counteracting bitter thing. And when instead I just added a largish dose of salt, they acted as if there were no antibiotics/steroids/whatever nasty, bitter substance I had added at all! It was like a miracle. Worth a try to see if it works for Affie. 🙂

Lovely vlog, Han! I'm not sure if I missed an official statement, but what is your job? I know Meg says you're her "groom", but are you a groom for other people as well? If so, that must be really fun to go be around lots of horses every day. I am a pet sitter who occasionally takes care of horses too, and I can happily say horse care is my absolute favorite since I can't own a horse of my own yet.
