Hi Ant, looks like you had a great camp witht he guys. Hope you are feeling better after a bad sleep. Stunning views Ant, Can't wait to get back to the Lakes . Looking forward to your next adventure. Enjoy the rest of the week. 🙂👍
Hi Cath hope you and Malc are good 👍. Yeah it was a good laugh this one, it always is when out with Chris and Andy, it was great to meet Mark for the first time, top bloke. Yeah I'm OK now, think it was cheese that did me haha. Big thanks as always for watching and have a lovely weekend!
@@AntSurviveTheNight Hi Ant, Glad you are feeling better. I will check out the other guy's video's too. Love watching you guys. Something I can't do these's days climb mountains and the rest so it's nice to see all the views . Yes thanks both keeping well. Have a great weekend and see you on the next adventure. 👍😊
I bought a Bobcat a few days ago and I'm setting it up in the garden today. Will it be ok in wind If I take it up in the Peak District? I could mod it, but I'm scared of buggering it up.
@RAMSEYM2402 oh wicked mate! You'll love it. Have a watch of my other Bobcat videos, they will give you peace of mind regarding the wind. The Bobcat is a solid unit. Enjoy your camp pal and let me know how you get on
Hey matey, thank you very much as always. Yeah the Lakes are a wonderful escape from real life problems. It all just melts away when you see that view. Thanks pal
I've not had much chance to use my Bobcat 1 in anger, but I pitched it in the garden during one of the big storms earlier in the year and it took 30mph+ winds for a couple of days with no problem. It was rock solid. Love the editing in your vids. Thanks for another one!
Hi Mat, ahh cool mate, least you know how she will fair though eh! Cheers matey, I'm glad you've enjoyed it. Fingers crossed you'll check some more of my content out matey 👍
your a braver man than me Ant . cracking camp mate beautiful views glad your Bobcat stood up to it sounded like the winds were strong up there . main thing is you enjoyed it and that's all that matters mate .
Thanks Tarmac, yeah was a brilliant weekend and a fab bunch of fellas to spend the time with! Yeah it wasn't too bad weather as we had to drop down and camp elsewhere, I was hoping for strong winds really. Big thanks as always for watching pal
It certainly was Chris! Haha we did have a proper laugh didn't we, your all mad men haha! Yeah definitely a fully functional tent for all weather's I'd say. I just really want to put it down now just so I can fully review it. Cheers matey!
Great video Ant (And Chris, Andy and Mark) I love how the plucky little Bobcat holds it's own in the company of much more expensive tents. And I think you have probably given it one of the most rigorous workouts seen on RU-vid
Morning Ivan, thank you very much. Yes, the Bobcat is just the perfect tent. For a little cost you can get out and experience wild camping throughout the year (depending on the rest of your kit that is) you can definitely get out in some bad weather in it, I'm just trying to work out how much wind it can withstand but can't 😄. Thanks very much for your comment Ivan
Thats an awesome view! It will be worth going back there in late spring and summer when the weather is a bit better. Shame you could not do much out side because of the weather. Still a good video and hope you feeling better. Looking forward to the next one.
Thank you! Yeah I think I had the best perch, what do you think? Oh definitely, I really want to try the other tarn so I'll be back come spring like you say. We stopped out all night really but just chilled out and I didn't really film as I was enjoying the lads company. They are a top bunch. Thank you, it was acid reflux we believe as we all had it. Aww cheers and big thanks for watching!
Really nicely put together video again Ant... I was watching Andy the Mountain Machine Wardles' vid last night🤣, but I only got half way, as I've had painful stomach probs last night☹️, so had to pause it & got the rest to watch later...👍 I like the way you pull out the front cover of the Bobcat, I'm guessing the hikepoles lifted it abit higher & keeps the guylines out of the way...?? & I could also do similar with door, as I like to have that out as a canopy, if not too windy, but it is a great litte tent or to use as a day shelter with just the Flysheet, I have other tents that i use more, as usually with dog, but as a 1 man hike or stealth camp tent it get my vote...👍😄 Best wishes...
Hi Kev, hope your feeling better pal. Thanks very much, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yeah the reason I lift the front of the Bob up is to lift it away from the door so I don't have to stoop when I'm looking out or getting in and out. I have a real bad back you see mate and something like this really helps me because if you think how many times you stoop it's mind blowing haha. Yes, good idea with the door too buddy, I'll get some para cord on the bottom of the door and try that next time I'm out. Yeah in the summer months I'm sure if you take the inner out you'd get two people sleeping in that. Yeah if you have a big dog there's no chance you could cope in the Bobcat mate I bet. Big thanks for watching and your comment Kev, I appreciate it pal.
Hiya, this is my first watch and thought I’d get your take on a night out with pals. Sorry to hear you didn’t fell to good but certainly looked a great adventure. Yep stayed in plenty of bothy mostly on long hikes in Scotland, usually for me it’s better if you’re there on your own. Anyway ATB Ant. Cheers 👍🏕️
Hi there Dave, welcome to the channel pal. Thanks mate, yeah I felt dodgy throughout the night but thankfully it was some cheese we had so all good, just acid reflux haha. Ahh cool, yeah definitely on the list to do this year that. Yeah i bet its better if you have it all to yourself. Big thanks buddy for watching and commenting
Looks like you all had a great camp (apart from the sickness!). Good spot and the Bobcat lives to tell another tale! You should have popped round to Warnscale Bothy whilst you were in the area. Much nicer than Dubs👍
Hey Benny, yeah it was a blast matey. Yeah the sickness was down to late night cheese and salami, acid reflux 😄. Yeah she's holding out isn't she although she did have it very easy on this one, very tight pitch though. I think Mark was tell me about that one mate was it quite a bit further on? Sounded good, yeah. Cheers buddy 👍
I think I'd rather survive the night enveloped in the beautiful views of your Lake District in a tent rather than in the......what is it?......the bothy??? Looks like it was another great adventure. Well done 👏 Cheers 🍻
Hey Ted mate. Yeah enclosed in but they are there for protection. If the weather is real bad and you know where they are in the area your hiking in they can be a life saver mate. Fir sure I'd rather be in a tent if honest
Excellent video. Lovely filming technique you have. I’ve watched all 3 now. They’re all different style but equally good. It looked a great night and what a spot. Now after meeting and hiking with wardle is he as fit as he seems? (hiking and climbing) I watch all his vids he cracks along a bit up some big hills. I think it’s all clever edits 😂😂😂😂.
Thank you very much Thomas, very kind and I'm glad your liking my content pal, I really appreciate it. It was a fab night out with a top bunch of lads it really was. Mate, he's like a,machine, he doesn't stop for air, real trooper. He's loads fitter than me. Big thanks for watching pal
Hi Billy, how's things matey? Thank you very much. Yeah the Bob is fantastic pal, not let my down once. Oh right, go on get yourself out in it pal. Look after yourself mate.
