i was there.....all the way from australia with my mate pete we were with the notts brittania for that one and morecambe a few weeks before, they were running nights in one of the pubs on the front, first night was so chaotic that the landlord left us to run the bar in the bandroom/disco....feckin' idiot, we ( and some helpful crowd members) drank the place dry and emptied the till one day if i ever work out how, i'll get the video we shot that weekend converted to digital and put it up on here met a load of other clubs too, junction 13, kent brittania are a couple of them i remember some twunt stole me leather jacket on the sunday night and i nearly got arrested trying to convince a copper to search the whole town for it....thanks for the rescue there pete got me a hangover that lasted 3 days too seriously silly fun, still got the denim cutoff with al;l the patches from that holiday but gave up scooters later that year after yet another nasty accident, still ride bikes but the copuple of times i've had a quick ride on a scooter since have just scared the crap out of me
The mods would camp on Holland marshes. To deter the mods from camping on his land the farmer would spray muck on the fields days before the long weekend. The unsuspecting cheeky scooter mobile mods would not realise that they were spending a weekend camping in shite...
