Load times should be easily optimised. I'm fairly sure that there are some configs that you can apply to increase performance and load times to applications like workbench
You sure can. Download the disk images in ADF format, place them on a USB stick and make sure all 3 disks are loaded into virtual drives (use the right shoulder button to add the disks) and boot fron disk 2.
I am trying to do this but not managing somehow.... I press the HOME key also HOME on a keyboard), but which RIGHT button do you need to use please? I have tried everything... is it the RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON? The shoulder button? Or something else? I'm not a noob by any means, but this is driving me nuts. :-) Thanks for your help.
It's the gamepad right shoulder button. When you want to switch disks during a game, first press and hold the home button then press the right shoulder button on the gamepad.

the standard boot OS boot time, when not being dragged, down by booting from a floppy, in seconds , like switching on PDA or something, your using a emulator, so real amiga trick may not work, if you have the full set of amiga OS disk, the driver or something to make memory resident (sort of, until a power down) virtual floppy in the amiga memory, (not the ram disk, that cool too), and just copy your OS boot Floppy image, to virtual floppy the same any really floppy (all the same stuff), once copied, remove reboot the amiga boom boots in like two seconds, the amiga was so realy healed back by people looking at it struggling do anything from a floppy disk and it did well, just try running Mac OR PC from floppy's will soon give up?
@@TheSenseiNeo I actually gave you the wrong info. The keyboard in the video is a RedDragon model K552. I have since replaced it with a Simulant Shop USB Amiga Keyboard for better authenticity (www.simulant.uk/shop/amiga-classic-mechanical-keyboard)
Walter Cronkite sadly I am not... These videos are pretty much shot from the hip with zero preparation or scripting, sharing a raw and unvarnished experience with those interested. Some can filter the distractions and extract the useful essence of the demonstration, and some stumble at the first hiccup. It takes a village I suppose...
