I bought an A9LH one ages ago, recently started playing it again, this doesn't look hard but too worried about bricking the thing to give it a go... Edit: I went for it. I recently bought another 3ds to play with a friend and had to update my 3ds this video made it posible to update from a really back version and from there i was able to update from another video from you thank you so much.

Thanks so much I found my old og 3ds that I had install cfw years but no SD card mine was on Luma3ds 6.6. I got a new SD card followed your video and now evething is up to date im on sys 11.14.0 46U and everthing works great amazing tutorials

I bought a jailbroken 3ds and my nephew immediately connected to Nintendo shop. Black screen blue light. Followed the instructions and less the five minutes later it works. Thanks. Now to keep this away from my nephew. Lol

What do I do if there was an error & it lead to the homebrew launcher disappearing & now I can't get it back? Edit: Nevermind I looked up "homebrew launcher cia" & was able to fix it. For some reason when I followed the step to install & delete all cia the homebrew launcher's cia had an error, made the mistake of deleting it & when I left got an error followed by the launcher disappearing from my menu. Trying to download it from the updater area didn't work & sometimes got a false success & I wasn't able to get an answer on discord.(To be fair they have a lot going on) Eventually realized to google a new cia & install that leading to fixing the problem.

It works on 2022. I have a 3ds with 6.6 luma and when I booted pressing start button it had something with dragon?! I updated with this video and I have latest luma and godmode 9!!

I need help. When I turn on the console while holding down start, it does not bring me to the Luma3ds chainloader screen. It instead takes me to the godmode screen. I can't get to the B9S safe installer.

Hey quick question, I have Luma 6.6 on a Old 3ds XL. I am trying to follow this guide but after copying the files to my SD card and loading it im pressing Start+Power as you do but mine goes into Hourglass and not Godmode. I tried removing the Hourglass Firm file from my Payloads folder and just keeping in Godmode9.firm and the Safe file but then it wont boot at all. Any idea why it why it automatically goes into Hourglass? I even tried renaming it to up_godmode9.firm and holding up and pressing power and it just boots to the normal home screen. I installed this CFW years ago so im just coming back to the middle of it. I even looked up how to wipe it and start over and it again needs me to be able to get into Godmode and not Hourglass lol. Any ideas would be great....

Hello, can I ask you something? I am very paranoid about doing this to a 3ds I just bought. I bought a modded 3ds a few days ago and I noticed that it's on firmware 11.2 and it has luma 6.6. Should I follow this guide. Will it brick my 3ds? I've never modded a console in my life so I am pretty scared about breaking mine that is already modded.

Trying this in 2024. Using the package linked, i seem to have no option to get to the chainloader screen to choose b9s. It goes straight to gm9. Is it safe to skip all this? I was trying to update from luma v9

I'm on v.6.6 and can't get into the chainloader? How can I access it? There aren't any files on the 3DS. Can enter the Luma configuration menu though.

Sometimes when I play the the 2nd screen shows an error and I must reboot. I use a few Checkpoint hacks. This is anoying because then my save stats arent save can anyone help me? Pls.

Hi just a quick question, so after dragging the files into my sd card instead of booting into my Luma3DS emunand, its now just booting into my Homebrew launcher and when I hold start+power it boots into sysnand automatically.

to check the luma3ds version in 1 second on home screen press L = down and select and open the rosolina mune and you will see down the version EZ

my up and right arrow buttons are broken, is there a way to either remove the sequence or change it? Edit: i canceled it by pressing b and now when i try to boot um luma it gets me to the screen where you need to put the confirmation sequence, i'm stuck there.

Alright so let hope someone see this, but I’m currently in a cross roads here. I updated my 3ds a while back ago I completely forgot to check in with all the new updates. It’s currently on the latest system software (11.16) but my Luna is running v.6.6. Will doing this update mess anything up. Or should I just forget about the updates and keep my console as it is?
