@@Kingumaru See I have been a fan of Aaliyah's eyes for a lonnnng time, it was always one of her best features to me, her pupils, eye shape and natural bottom lashes has always intrigued me . I agree that it looks a different color but a lot of times when the sun or lighting hits brown eyes they appear lighter which is what I believe is happening here. Her face and features are beautiful enough to wear the contacts and not let the contacts wear her, regardless. I know plenty of celebs that can put in color contacts and still couldn't look half this good . Aaliyah is more beautiful than a colored contact
She was feeling so comfortable doing this interview; she was all laided-back. She was a talented, but also smart young woman, going for her dreams. And they were reaching out to her as well. I Miss you, Aaliyah.....
Not sure who would say that other than the most ignorant racist of people. Beauty comes in all shades of color. To people of all shades like myself, she was the most beautiful woman inside and out. I tried to meet her here in Vancouver when she was filming RMD, but shooting locations were tight lipped. Turns out she was filming right outside my work location during the serpentine fire scenes.
You have to believe in a higher power while watching this. A person whose endured so much pain at such a young age presume so much grace and stability. God has her. Period.
Her beauty is so timeless🔥 she was wayyyyy ahead of her time she will always be my fav and my Queen 😩🖤🙌 I wish she was still here if I could go back in time and prevent her death I would 😩
@@darealmrsknight6593 They're fucking lying. Aaliyah has always been fresh even before them so shutup. People sound so jealous of her they would say anything. If Aaliyah was here they wouldn't be saying none of that bs she would get their asses in line. She was Original.
@@darealmrsknight6593 uhm not reallu cause "age aint notging but a number" aaliyah and "one in a million" aaliyah kinda look diffrent in style yoi can see she had more of a girly vibe
Its so lovely to see her in her element. She had so many dreams and aspirations...it's so, so sad how she went to heaven at the early age of 22...we share the same birthday along with Sade....it's all so sad. But I love hearing her
Aaliyah’s favorite choice for director: Ridley Scott That’s babygirls pick. She would have rocked that starring role. This strong willed orchid of a woman did her OWN stunts and everything. We didn’t deserve this precious amazingly talented and intelligent angel How is she NOT an official Disney princess? She sang the theme song for Anastasia!
So sad that she had all of these plans that never came to fruition 😔 I would've LOVED to have seen her future films and seen her work with these different artists. I bet they would've all came out incredible 😢
Aaliyah definitely the 1 in a million....Love her drive/hustler attitude 2 doing what she loved. She was very passionate and it's something that We will always remember!
I love how she is well versed and multi faceted . She loves all cultures, and into film . She mentions Ridley Scott, Sade, Barbra Streisand. The IG thots of today don’t have any culture whatsoever! (Cough cough Cardi B and all these Dolls)
I remember aaliyah, brandy, and Monica were running things in the 90s! They were so young talented! It breaks my breaks heart that in today's time brandy isn't too friendly with monica but hey. At the end of the day ALL 3 ladies were iconic in their own way
Aaliyah was so laid back and comfortable in this interview. She was an private, laid back person. That loved to be around her family a lot. She had big goals, that she wanted to complete. Wow when Aaliyah said....you'll be seeing a lot in the future, meaning of her work😢🙏🏾. I just wished that we did see more of her. Aaliyah will always be remembered, I don't care how much time is passing by. She'll always be One In A Million.
She will never know how loved and missed she is. Even as the years pass, people are still embracing her music, life and legacy. She was such an amazing person.
Your the best for posting this video awesome to see Aaliyah in videos it's so rare the interviewer showed respect to her no negative questions just all about her career bravo to him
Trashawn W. I agree, and the interview said hmmph like he knew she wouldn’t be alive much longer and I feel like she understood that and put her head down...maybe saying a little prayer like God please let me not die too soon
Aaliyah was so beautiful so elegant gracefull well spoken grown beyond her years her smile could light up a room one she was the most gorgeous girl ive ever seen so talented she could sing dance and act truly one in a million she will forever be missed gone too soon but never forgotten her legacy will forever live on rip baby girl😇😇
Dwayne Fore Jr I met her once at the teen choice awards in 2000, and she was an absolute angel...the nicest celebrity I’ve ever met. I was so nervous, because i was a huge fan and looked up to her so much, but she was extremely kind to me and my sister. She even touched my hair. I’ll never forget that. 😢💔
She was a few years younger than me. (While she would've been 40 this year, I just turned 41 in December.) So I was a part of the group that got to know her as an artist from jump. Watch her career grow, and be utterly heartbroken that Saturday in August in 2001. I will never forget cleaning my apartment that morning, they played Rock The Boat on the radio. I remember thinking I couldn't wait to see the dance routine she'd do for the video. She was beautiful with such a magnetic personality, always nice to her fans. Girls wanted to be like her, guys.. well you know. One in a million she will always be.
She keeps such a composure about herself during this interview, just laid back and relaxed..but you can tell she's beaming with excitement and anticipation for her future... 😔😭❤🥀 Love you forever, Aaliyah.
She has a personality that just defies description....so regal...almost perfection! It's something about her personality and the smoothness of her voice, not just in this interview, but every time she spoke or performed! Seeing/hearing her you can just almost feel the presence of heaven....a calm, a peace that's so enlivening and refreshing! She's captivating...just pulls you in with her beauty and then her voice grasps you! She was heaven bound....and that's why she couldn't stay here long. She was truly an angel....a angelic piece of heaven walking on earth. Her spirit shines through....even with her being noticeably tired in this interview, she still was polite, well spoken, smiling, poise and graceful. Lord knows I miss her. I love Aaliyah so much! She was my favorite artist growing up and she's still my favorite till this day...no one can replace her!
Truly a gift from GOD! This how Hollywood works, certain things they keep from the public...like this unknown interview for instance!! Her parents did an excellent job raising her right. If I was her I'd be burned out doing all that traveling especially if there's a schedule planned for me to keep up. In my opinion I liked the first 2 albums because the 1st one was little on the "street" side of things whereas the 2nd was a blend of everything. The 3rd one was pretty good, she became vocally stronger and the darkness came out on some songs. HAPPY 40TH BDAY 2U!!
This was the most laid back interview I’ve ever seen in general. She was relaxed, but not rude in her body language. I wish she was still here I would love to see what her impact would’ve been. She mad a huge mark in such a short period.
I’m happy to be born in a time to grow up listening to her. I was 12 when she passed. There will never be another Babygirl. When you do what you love, it doesn’t feel like work. RIP
My sister was the same age as u when she died...I was 19 then. I remember what I was doing & where I was that day like it was YESTERDAY! I know that I screamed when I saw it on VH1 & ran out of my room crying 2 my mom & then called my same-age cousin(as me). We both cried & watched all the coverage about her & the crash all night...still so crazy 2 me 2day
I just wish that the new Generations could understood how amazing she was and more than just a pretty face was 100% talented young female, who was willing to come out of her comfort zone to really own her craft.
@@AyeJye Than they are going after her black people unbelievable, unbelievable calling her out her name saying she used R. Kelly, bah, bah, bah these people are truly sick people the girl was a victim if it's TRUE a victim but alot of black people show there true colors like trump supporters.
when she was taking her microphone off as i focused to see her channelling her magnificent energy out of that room, my heart broke the second the tape went black. it's like, the end and you'll never see her again... we miss you, Li!
Darnelly Daniels why do you love Cardi B? She doesn’t do anything for black women but calls us roaches and makes fun of dead black babies. Fuck that stupid bitch!
Rest In Peace Baby Gurl Gone But Neva 4gotten Sweet Kind & Humble As Well As Beautiful Gracious & Gorgeous Aaliyah Chu Truly Were An Angel Sent From Heaven Unique Talent 1 In A Million Baby Gurl:)Xxxxx
See this when interviews use to be good. Not asking about drama, no shade, no misunderstandings. Just all about the artist. Simple conversation. Now nobody wants to do interviews because they can be messy.
Geesh! Very mature! Very professional! Very intelligent and knew how to talk in an interview. She just knew how to carry herself period. Very classy! Miss you baby girl! ❤️
I feel comfortable when it is my time to go to heaven because I will finally get to see Aaliyah again!! I miss her so much. Rest In Sweet Peace baby girl🙏❤🙏❤
