She was so pretty, educated, sensual without being vulgar, she has such a calm aura, she is like the type of people who are so patient, chill, who know how to listen, intelligent, wise, she has that feeling so comforting as a friend
That's how most us MidWest Girls are. It's in our aura/essence. To kno us is to luv us. Lili represented us so well. Always respected her for that. Certainly beautiful, she was ❤️🙏🏾
Well said. Really love aaliyah's energy and overall personality. Very articulate and even even she's was expressing her comfortability with her sexuality, it was done in such a classy and tasteful way. She is GOALS. 🖤
Allie S 'Artists today make me question if they even went a day in school' looool! This is sooo true! Aaliyah was a class act, you could tell she was a bright and intelligent person. Her art was only a piece of what made her so special, her interviews really give you a view into how dope she was.
Some things in this world don't make sense to me....You have very evil, wicked people who live long lives, and then you have a girl like Aaliyah and she never reached her full potential, it is so distressing watching this. I can only hope that she is with her maker. Her family must still be in disbelief. It is way too sad. What a world...
I totally agree. I am right here with you. I often think about Aaliyah , her life and her death. It hurts so deep and so much. I will never comprehend. I HATE asking why... but why why why
Can we take a moment to appreciate how talented this interviewer is. He’s asking the right questions. Knows when to be fun. Knows when to be serious. He’s making her so comfortable. Not getting too deep into her personal life.
but the fucked up part is HE KNEW THE PLAN TO SET HER UP ON THAT FATEFUL FLIGHT THAT TOOK HER PRECIOUS LIFE THATS WHY YOU HEAR THE PLANES FLYING IN THE BACKGROUND AS A WARNING SIGN SHE ALWAYS HAD A FEAR OF FLYING AND I HAVE PSYCHIC ABILITIES AALIYAHS LIGHT WAS SO BRIGHT THEY WERE BEYOND JEALOUS OF HER AND PUT HER ON THAT TINY ASS CESSNA JET ASLEEP SO SHE COULDNT FIGHT BACK SHE WAS DRUGGED UP AND THEN THE PILOT WAS DRUNK AND HIGH THEN THEY OVERWEIGHTED THE PLANE with all that damned luggage I CANT EVEN STOP CRYING TIL THIS VERY DAY 2023 she was SACRIFICED for beyonce EVERYONE THAT HAD THEIR HANDS IN AALIYAHS DEATH WILL GO TO HELL
Except the bbl, she did use those things in her career. She even has falsies on in this interview. She just did not overdramaticize her look like this generation does today. Aaliyah's looks were seamless and flowing, even when she added things.
Marquis Walker I’m only 12 and I love watching her along with Brandy, even 60’s people from back then. Seriously I know all 60’s artists! You can name em and I know em
I was thinking the same, she also spoke the words like ..uuugh it’s an airplane. She said it and wasn’t meaning to say it as she was attempting to answer the question…. But it was said, then the end with the baby analogy is beyond me… like WHO ARE THEY???
yup natural is the key word! No high ego...lightening her skin/hair to look blonde...wearing promiscuous clothes.. her whole demeanor is sweet and humble...if she had been around, Beyonce wouldnt have held a candle next to her..Aaliyah was a beautiful talented soul inside and out
I am an intuitive reader. And she was not only an empath but she was really really intuitive like her mother. Aaliyah was more aware than her mother actually and it’s clear as day but this woman has definitely a bright aura for sure
Judging purely from the extent of her vocabulary ALONE, one could easily analyze that she was a force to be reckoned; a free-spirited individual that COULD NOT BE CONTROLLED! We miss you sweetheart! What a cruel world we live in!
@@monilaninetynine3811 That's a damn lie y'all believe anything that's put out there it's so sad. People say anything to make money off her name and y'all dumbasses just eat it up without doing research. She was not drugged she walked on that plane there's a video of her waving back at the camera while she boards the plane she was not carried. 🤦🏾♀️
Everybody's been saying how beautiful and humble she was, and I can only reiterate that. There are a lot of moments here that one would have expected never to have aired, but Aaliyah's smile and sweet demeanor remained because that was who she truly was as a person. I hope in her short life that she experienced nothing but happiness because that's what she deserved.
Luckily in every interview, especially in her 20s, she always says how blessed and fulfilled she was. That keeps me happy for her now she is at peace. RIP Queen 🥰🤩
@@nevaxh no, it's true do you see Cardi B Megan Thee Stallion and others? They're literally the most disgusting human trash ever. And if you support it you're no better than them. Dummy
God took his time, I mean all his time to create such a beautiful, angelic individual right here. Aaliyah is down to earth and you can see. You can look at her and see that not only she is beautiful outside as well the inside. God just watching her and listening to her just bring tears to my eyes. This is a rare breed, and it can not be duplicate.. God I see why you needd her more then us. But I Thank God for the time u have blessed us with her. #RIPAaliyah#youarestillmissedin2017.
Truly a important person who's life would have made a different to many young black girls opposed to the ghetto image that's portrayed by most celebs. Love this girl and she's truly missed
Dineshia Coleman I'm racist 'cause I think her outfit is ghetto? Lmao. ok. I guess if I'm that bitch from the other video than so are you. I wrote this like a month ago anyway I thought we already said bye.
I litterally have not checked one of her videos in like a month. Lol. So yeah it appears it is you starting shit after all. Thanks for proving me right tho.
I’m 13 years old. She has put an impact on my life. Even tho I wasn’t alive when she died, my mom taught me about her and since then I’ve became a fan.
He was a wonderful interviewer and she had so many humble answers to the questions. It looks like in the beginning and end of the clip he was giving her advice on hater comments and reviews. At the end he was saying they're running circles around us regular folks lol! Love it!
She was so well spoken. Drop dead gorgeous. One thing I noticed about her, her vocabulary and even her slang was ahead of its time. She was pushin the Merce!!! Ayyye.
The most beautiful woman inside and out. She was a superstar and she was just starting. There's no one who compares, she was one of a kind. Humble, intelligent and super talented rest in peace Aaliyah ♥️
That's probably why she got taken right out of the conversation each time, there's an interview with Damon Dash where he even stated along with a pre existing fear of planes. That she was saying over the phone, something felt very off, and that she didn't want to get on that flight.
Aaliyah was talented, beautiful, and had so much going for her, but I can't believe that this is 20 years later after her death and to this day everyone is still affected by her passing. Most importantly is that her music, her spirit, and her legacy will live on forever.
@@RapFanatic4ever why? You didn’t even know her, you only know what she put out into the world. You would be surprised how well manipulative people can fool everyone around them, especially from a distance and if they’re attractive. I see it literally on a daily to weekly basis in the entertainment industry. You have to be honest with yourself, you don’t think about this stranger every day, you’re not effected by this. And if by some chance you are obsessing over her daily I’m sure she’s not the only one you’re doing this with and need to get professional help to get you out of this delusional state.
Aaliyah is such a beautiful soul. I was so disturbed by the planes flying overhead in this interview, so heartbreaking....But she’s immortalized through her body of work and fantastic interviews such as these. Her and Beyoncé could’ve both occupied the industry simultaneously. Idk what’s up with the comparisons, I guess that’s the nature of people🤷🏽♀️ I celebrate both ladies ... gorgeous, talented, and blessed beyond measure. See you on the flip side Baby Girl 🖤
I think she was in a place in life where she made peace and acceptance with herself after all she probably experienced in the beginning of her career…she was a so popular once she returned from that brief hiatus.
She was comfortable with him from the start. Most interviewers especially with black artists. Ask these left field questions, which have nothing to do their careers. That's why Beyonce rarely if at all gives interviews. Even Michael Jackson was sometimes preferential to certain interviews.
Thank you so much for sharing one of my favorite Aaliyah interview. *Sigh...* I can't get over it... What a sweet humble articulate lady she was. She oozed so much serenity. God, I miss her soooo much. To this very day, I've never, EVER, seen a young artist being that calm, humble and classy. ;__; ...
She would have been 39 in seven days. I can only imagine where she would have been today. She was so down to earth!! Rest in heaven and happy early birthday Aaliyah. 👑👑👑
This interview is so heartwarming Aaliyah was so beautiful and full of love and happiness. She did so much at such a young age and it's just so sad that she couldn't continue to seek out her dreams. She leaves behind an amazing legacy and she's in the arms of god Rest in paradise Aaliyah!!
Its 2018 and I'm still broken hearted over her death...she was the most BEAUTIFUL QUEEN IN THE WORLD...I FELT LIKE I KNEW HER SHE WAS SO HUMBLE AND SMART...I MISS YOU BABYGIRL 😢😢
The thing about babygurl is she was beautiful NATURALLY,she was beautiful not only on the OUTSIDE but also on the INSIDE SHE WAS AN ANGEL ALL OVER Rip Babygurl Aaliyah Haughton WE LOVE AND MISS YOU ❤️❤️❤️
This interview couldn't be any more flattering for the 2, a beautiful artist and a clever interviewer, perfect match. That camera never left her sight and the interviewer really brought out the best in her, she was just Unbelievably flawless...
