Pen State's Aaron Brooks takes the win 7-2. Aaron Brooks of Penn State is a three-time NCAA champion. Subscribe to the NCAA Championship RU-vid channel: ru-vid.com...
It’s easy to see how Penn State rolls out so many national champions. When you get in a room full of guys who have won past title at your weight, it rubs off on you. Not only the technique, but also the mentality. Same can be said for a program that constantly rolls out All-Americans, or a team that constantly seems to underperform. It’s a snowball affect, for good or for bad.
@@Auxz he’s proven the last 3 years he wasn’t a 3 seed my point is Trent was better than Parker and missed a chance on being a finalist cuz of this dumb seeding
Brooks a 3 seed was a slap in his face The committee needs to be over hauled because someone early in the season got lucky he dropped to third 2 x national champion he's a 3 seed lol
@@djardine2314smh ever heard of the trinity. The father , the son and the Holy Spirit are all god. He shows himself in different forms. So Jesus is infact god as it was taught to me in bible study at a private catholic school
@@33moneyball In Brooks’ case, not really. he was unbeaten Big Ten champion and sure #1 seed when the tournament was canceled. He won in each of the three years in which he was wrestling and the tournament was held. Where is the “nonsense?” Starocci has won three straight after his redshirt. I wouldn’t worry about Carter upsetting things-he appears to be focused on the Olympics. However, if he wins 4 or 5, regardless of circumstances, some recognition would seem to be due.
Strong, courageous, great sportsmanship! Victorious and a true example for young girls and boys! His faith will take him through the battle you know is coming for daring to speak Jesus name publicly. Pray for protection and peace for him!
Yup, already seen a sad amount of hate towards the words he said in that interview. But all that really means is it’s working and Jesus is being spread, God bless Aaron for being bold enough to praise his King publicly and may he be with him through a possibility rough time coming up. When God’s light starts to shine, the enemy tries to throw a blanket on top of it. I pray that his light will shine through every shadow thrown at him.
Unafraid of the big moment on a national stage and unashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Very impressive & encouraging to see. Congratulations young man 💪🏾 and keep putting Christ first in all that you do!
Psalm 94:16-17 King James Version 16 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity? 17 Unless the Lord had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.
Acts 1:8 "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Amen, brother!
what do you gain by denouncing our prophet muhammad s. a. w if you really think that you are in the truth, have a discussion with former pastors who became muslims. the prophet muhammad, peace be upon him, was just expressing the word of god the creator and after that he also mentioned how noble a prophet jesus, peace be upon him, and his mother maria, how holy a woman lived on earth
He is a good wrestler and congrats to him … but no need for all that religion talk on this platform … especially calling Mohammad a fake prophet … taking it too far bro … as an Iranian American, I respect Christians, Muslims and other religions in between … I was born a Muslim and would never disrespect Jesus or anyone else’s faith …
@@777Skeptic how many hundreds of years ago was that?? Christianity had an enlightenment age. So I’m not sure what “war” you are thinking will be waged. Unless you are planning on doing it all by yourself
@@evansusmc What happened in Germany in WW2? It was organized by a Christian and endorsed by the Catholic Church. Recent enough, or does it have to be yesterday?
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God (through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus), not of works, lest anyone should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9. Works can not save you. Only repentance of sins and faith in Jesus. We are all guilty of sin and have earned hell. "The wages of sin is death." Roman's 6:23. But while we were sinners Jesus died to pay the fine for sins and allow freedom for those who believe in Him as the Son of God. Trust in Him and turn from your sins.
@@sensiblycynical freedom of speech is subjective it applies differently to different people.for instance this guy can insult a prophet of a world religon of literally 2billlion people but can't insult the jewish community he'll be labelled an antisemite. In the first scenario it's freedom of speech even though it deeply offends millions if not billions of Muslims but that pain is disregarded and dismissed. As for scenario 2 you can't even insult anything connected to jewish culture let alone a symbol of faith. If you still don't understand I get it your just another low iq McDonald's eating wanking american
A bit tasteless from Brooks. Nothing wrong with him voicing his faith and being proud, but no need to demean other religions. Imagine a Muslim wrestler saying that about Jesus, just unecesaary imo
I guarantee you nobody would care Muslims always mad about something idk who is worse conservatives or Muslims y’all stay mad….South Park shows muhummad y’all wanna blow them up, woman want to drive go to school or not wear a black robe in 120 degree weather y’all wanna kill them get over yallselves
He shouldn't have denounced other people's faith in live broadcasting. However, God bless him for publically giving glory to the Lord. I see no problem in that.
@@pjjones4234 he is putting down Jesus himself by denouncing the fact Jesus was the only prophet😂😂 Jesus says in the Bible he is not the only prophet who was ‘beget or begotten’
IF he is going to do freestyle on the international stage, then he will have to watch out with the Islamic brothers overseas. They do NOT play with their religion
No reason for him to say that. He has to understand that he will have issues wrestling overseas. But it is america so he does have a right to say it, but it still was unnecessary and tasteless to do so.
@Sensibly Cynical When he leaves the country he will have a hard time. Muslims do not play about religion, and last time I checked they won the holy war. If you have to disrespect a whole religion you are a coward. Wish the worse for him and is family.
study Islam first before denouncing prophet muhammad s.a.w. because I, I came to know Jesus, may peace be upon him, as a great messenger of the only God who brings the truth that comes from God because of Muhammad, may peace be upon him, our recognition and love for Muhammad is the same as our love for Jesus and all the prophets before him. and all the prophets are the way for us to be accepted into heaven BTW Im from philippine🇵🇭😊😊
Congratulations on your championship. There was absolutely no need to insult a religion of over 2 billion people. The Bible itself speaks of the last and final messenger Muhammad (Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him).
I am a Jesus man, but I agree. No need to blast the faith of others. "The Lord will save, those whom He has chosen to save." Rom 8 and 9 and Eph Ch 1 and 2. The HS will save. We do not need to blast others faith.
@@mikemcnut3204 May Allah guide you, Jesus prayed to Elaha(Aramaic for God, Allah) Jesus prostrated his head to the floor when he worshipped as did the Last and Final Messenger Muhammad (Peace and blessing be upon him).
I want everyone to just imagine the reverse situation. If a Muslim wrestler won and said it’s all due to Allah and that Jesus is a false God or a sham… absolutely EVERYONE would be going nuts and booing him and trying to get make him apologize or more. It’s just because US wrestling is a sport with a lot of Christians in it that you don’t see much backlash. But what did he hope to achieve saying that? Everything about Aaron already tells me he doesn’t believe in Islam from his social media, his RU-vid page, every post match interview, which is 1000% OKAY. Like everyone knows he obviously doesn’t believe in the Prophet Muhammad, and I’m fine with him giving praise to his Faith. But why take it a step further? What did that accomplish? If I went out there and said Jesus is a sham that would do NOTHING to make Christian’s follow Islam and just hurt others. The ability to say something doesn’t mean you should. He has the rights to say anything he wants but words hold weight and require responsibility.
Case in point of religion being a subjective experience with peoples conviction being the opposite. Ironic how Jesus himself in the bible said he wasn't the only prophet. Adults and their imaginary friends.
I love Jesus but nonetheless, the Bible says 'always to ready to give an answer to any one who ASKS . . . and do this "with gentleness and respect." 1 Pet 3:15
“No false prophets no Muhammad no anyone else” This guy is nuts, Jesus was a prophet so was Muhammad, Abraham, Moses, Isaiah & Job. Having a closed mindset like this is dangerous. He needs to read ALL religious scripture (Torah, Quran, Gospel, the Psalms) not just the Bible which has been altered hundreds of times since it’s birth. To each their own, but don’t put down billions of other humans believes on a national stage you square.
As AB often quotes from Acts - he should study the chapter in Acts in which Paul talks on Mars Hill about the gods of other folks that do not believe as Paul believed.
Amen! NO false prophets! Not Muhammad! Only Jesus Christ saves! He's the God-Man Who died on that cross for sinners and rose up from the dead! "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life!" Jesus (John 3:16)
My guy feels threatened by islam that he needs to say such statements. Was so uncalled for, could of avoided all of this. But i get him the churches are getting emptier and the mosques are getting fuller. All praise to Allah swt the one and only worthy of worship.
@@hakikisaputra4133 man, I was a Christian through and through from the age of 5 to 16. Every Sunday, youth group functions on Saturdays from the age of 13 to 15, Bible camps, door to door gospel recruiting etc etc… Thats just how I was. Then I learned that other religion actually DID exist. Religions that totally contradicted Christianity (and vice versa). So at the age of 15 I just stopped. These days I’m mostly agnostic.
Churches are getting emptier because people are seeing the hypocrisy and realizing it's all fairy tales. Mosques are getting fuller because atheism is punishable by death. You can only brainwash people into religion from birth because kids are gullible. Try them as an adult and they'll laugh at you.
Not a surprise, his silly remarks about Allah. The PSU program has a reputation for being a room of zealots. Too bad Brooks couldn't save the preaching for a Sunday. I'd love to be there when he wakes up and sees he wasted his 'faith' on a myth.
“ I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.” John 5:30 yawn yawn read y’all’s bible starting with you Aaron Brooks to say god has no other prophets, is to denounce your own religion.
Cringiest post-interview I've ever seen, and an even funnier comment section. People that act like this are miserable to be around lol Putting down other's religion was so unnecessary especially when a ton of Muslim people love wrestling worldwide. Bet he doesn't have the balls to say that if he's every wrestling over there
