I’ve watched an episode where he broke down Purdy tape and pointed out how elite the decision making and precision was So he’s not hating on Purdy - he’s saying the Pats suck and so Mac Jones looks terrible Dunno why he didn’t say that when called or maybe it got edited out by Pat

I’m a saints fan and I’ve been saying since last year that Brock Purdy is going to be the only Qb that could slow Mahomes title run. He’s that good. I see a Brady like career and he does play similar to Brees. Anticipation and accuracy and timing is next level with him. I was hoping the saints would trade for him this year, but, you guys knew what you had. That dude is a baller!!

Also one of the best QBs. According to passer ratings of 2023, Purdy is in 1st place.

The niners oline is NOT a top oline. They have a HOf LT and a great LG, but the right side is a sieve. Purdy has real good pocket awareness and movement plus he gets the ball out quick. He makes the oline look better than it actually is

THIS. Purdy has the talent that you can't easily quantify with stats and numbers. Not saying Brock's gonna be the next Montana but all the greats have those kinds of intangibles.

@@KyriCunningham Jimmy would be in the same boat. The Niners look much better on offense with Purdy than when Jimmy ran out. In my opinion Jimmy did have moments where he showed the potential to be a great passer, but most of the time, he was very average and I felt like he only attacked with short and medium passes. Purdy seems to be able to make most of the throws asked of him. Yes Niners reached the Super Bowl with Jimmy, but I argue that was in spite of him rather than because of him. I think Brock this year has also shown improvement over what he did last year. This team is stacked, but so was Jimmy's. Purdy is able to utilize his team more effectively.

They always say with the talent around him. The talent can only boost your confidence not make you better. Purdy trusts his team which makes him so much better than Jimmy.

Brady had a built team. When he won his first 3 rings he had a great D, Oline, run game and solid receivers. They never had to ask too much of him, but when they needed a play, he came up big. Brock is in a very similar position, great D, better skill players and a great oline. He's gonna be a problem.

Please don't compare Brock Purdy with Tom Brady, he will never be Tom Brady

​@@YEGGS_1Brady was a 6th round pick, that had a good enough football iq early on to limit or not make mistakes with a really good team around him, Brock is in the exact same situation, neither have an elite cannon for an arm, they do their damage with the muscle between their ears... alot of similarities, Brock has a chance to win chips with this team in an Era where you got some real damn good competition. Now can he make the 1 or 2 throws in clutch time Brady did late in January and in February... we don't know yet cuz he got hurt... it's his second year, don't dismiss him too quick. Jimmy isn't a bad QB but he struggles with longer throws. Purdy is comfortable in the pocket and can accurately make longer throws. Jimmy is like Dak with a little more talent, they can win when ahead but get erratic when behind.

Yes offensive schemes can help players, but the Baker equivalent would be saying (in 2019) Baker would be playing like Josh Allen if he was on the Bills. That wouldn’t be further from the truth. Unfortunately some people are simply better at playing football than others. Mac Jones and Baker Mayfield are not ultra talented players who simply have bad offensive schemes. They’re average NFL QBs with bad situations that make them look even worse.
