Kind of a surreal feeling walking around here. Ruins from a distant past everywhere. Lost city and lost people. The Turkish city of Side was completely abandoned for more than a thousand years. Now it is like an outdoor museum where you can take in the ruins of the old city. The huge Roman theatre is not to be missed as well as the temple of Apollo. The ancient city of Side is located on the Turkish riviera not far away from Antalya and Manavgat. This would be one of the most interesting cities to see in Turkey.
